The band's best studio album of all time. Great production, super guitar work and arrangements. This one is an ass-kickin' classic. Any hard rock fan who does not own a copy of this should be shot.

I see a few other die-hard UFO fans have posted here also! Tremendous record from the band! Top-notch with no question. Schenker's guitar work was fabulous, and Parker's drums never sounded better. This one's a winner.

The best studio recording featuring Schenker by far, but not the best studio work ever. Equal with 'Making Contact' and 'Misdemeanor' as the three best UFO studio projects ever. 'Rodeo' and 'Cherry' from this one are so hot.

Fine piece of work from one of the best bands in history. This group should have been bigger, and this album should have gotten much more respect. It's just a gem.

By far their best work with Schenker, save for the live material of course. 'Born To Lose' features one of the best guitar solos ever laid down. CLASSIC!

More great music on this one, with every song being a super. 'Born To Lose, 'Rodeo,' 'Only You Can,' and 'Cherry' would be the best, if you had to choose the best ones on this set. Classic record for sure, and should be better known in the rock world. This is one of those magical pieces of music you don't see much at all any more.

Most likely the best UFO material ever, save for the live record, of course. A major disappointment that 'Phenom' did not achieve super-status with other classic albums, as it most assuredly deserves more recognition than it ever has gotten. Beyond Comparison!

I love this album. It's my all time favorite record and the songs are just wonderful. Mogg is one of those singers who just makes you feel the music when you hear it.

Is there a better one/two album punch than 'Lights Out' and this album?? How many cd's can you play all the way through and every song is great with no fillers?? There's not enough positive things to say about these guys as they should be a mainstay in any hard rock cd collection.

One of the few rock lp's that can bring tears to my eyes. There's an element of meloncholia laid between the lines that hooks you and penetrates your skin no matter how thick it is. One song can break your heart while the next will accelerate it! I find it sad that this was the end of the road for Schenker('till later). What's more sad is that with all the classic rock FM in the states, very little UFO makes it to the daily playlist. 'Obsession' is awesome, flawless, classis, timeless.

I remember the first time I listened to this one: after a few hours I was growing little steel balls from all orifices. My mom rushed me to the doctor and he had to remove them as quick as possible. We later found out this was the result of NOT ENOUGH UFO. I was amazed, so I started listening and never looked back. Terrific disc, this one.

This CD is an unheralded classic in every sense of the word. It has excellent rockers, heartbreaking ballads, fine musicianship (Schenker is at his very best here) and a unique production that is both coolly detached and yet unquestionably heavy and melodic. One of those albums that is greater than the sum of its parts, best heard in its entirety, practically sweating an icy sheen of memorable hooks and power laden riffs, and once devoured not quickly forgotten. Easily one of my all time faves.

Ahhhhhh........ the melodies man, they just blow me away everytime. Always thought this was U.F.O at their very best, great songwriting, soaring guitar and for once, superb production. The two ballards 'Lookin out for no. 1' & 'Born to loose' give me the shivers.... & that's how it should be. A rare Classic!

The final classic era studio album from UFO. Some great songs on this one, Only You Can Rock Me, Hot N Ready, Cherry, You Don`t Fool Me, One More For The Rodeo and Born To Lose. This has never been my favourite UFO album but it`s been a while since I played it, so we`ll see if that`s changed with time!
