Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

A good release! An interesting point about this album is Dann Huff. He plays all the guitar on this except for Wake Up To love. There's some pretty sweet songs on here and it's hard to identify my favourite. Big Mistake has a great solo while Glory of Love and Daddy's Girl has great vocals. The album isn't a hard rocker but is very melodic to make up for it. |

Excellent album from the former Chicago frontman, very 80s. Among my favorites are the solid and punchy tracks Big mistake and Wake up to love, the Chicago-cloned classic Glory of love, and the nice duet with Amy Grant The next time I fall. |

Hi Tech AOR this time, with pompous brass arrangements that remind of Chicago. Glory Of Love here is one of my favorite songs ever; Cetera really shines on ballads. Daddy's Girl is a pretty nice tune, even with the creepy title. Another huge ballad with Next Time I Fall In Love. Only Love Knows Why reminds me of You're The Inspiration at points. Not a bad album, far from a classic, but with two (or three essential ballads). Rating: 8/10. Favorite Track: Glory Of Love. |
