September 12, 2020: Annual Heavy Harmonies Donation Drive!

The world has stabilized somewhat, so it's time for the annual Heavy Harmonies donation drive that originally iwas supposed to be held back in March. The annual drive is what pays most of site's bills and keeps it free for everyone.

Donation buttons are shown below. There is a thread on the HH forum that explains the perks for donating at the $20 and $50 levels.

Thank you for supporting the Heavy Harmonies community!

If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Dag Lauvland CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Dag Lauvland are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

One of the 'classic' westcoast albums in AOR genre. Surely a real great pleasure for fans of TIME GALLERY, WEST OF SUNSET (even if this here is not that poppy; not crispy enough for my personal taste), LAVA & ELDOEN's more serenity work (e.g. his "s/t" album). The voice also fits to that kind of music; it's somewhere between Egil Eldoen & Richard Marx. My favourite song here is "Stay inside you". 2nd best is "Gideon" followed by "Yeylah Korino" while "Hearts of the 80s" should be our 'hymn', right??!!

Pleasant release 4 sure...Dag has a tone of voice that somehow reminded me of Richard Page(Mr Mister)& Sting but obviously printing his own personality as a vocalist...my faves are "Stay Inside You"(nice),"I Wanna Be Your Love","Hearts Of The 80's"(whatta title!!!,love it!!!),"One Step Closer","Stonewall"(very nice song),"Gideon"(very nice song),"All There Is To It"...recommended album...86/100
