Good hard rock album. If you see this on CD pick it up as it is not out of print and hard to find.

From: David Date: August 5, 2002 at 0:58
This is not hard rock, it's piss-weak rock that is dominated by keyboards.

From: Shoemaker Date: August 6, 2002 at 6:15
This is a good Hardrockalbum. Unleash the rage, shooti' for love and power overload are very strong songs > NOT DOMINATED BY KEYBOARDS !!!

From: David Date: August 22, 2002 at 2:33
Listen closely Shoemaker, Unleash the Rage and Shootin' for Love have keyboards all the way through them.

From: nitrodoll Date: August 22, 2002 at 3:18

From: GlenRavine Date: February 28, 2003 at 21:10
Great DISC - not as good as their debut and somewhat softer - but still a good DISC. If expecting something like their debut - you'll be disappointed.

From: John Date: July 23, 2003 at 15:30
I like this better than the debut as it it's produced better. 'Power Overload' is one corker of a tune. 8/10.

From: Scandinavia Date: July 29, 2003 at 5:39
On this release they finally turn a little harder...More edge to the songs...Powerful guitars in nice interplay with some excellent keys...Still polished but with more conviction...

From: jayglam@hotmail Date: October 14, 2003 at 8:50
In my opinion the best hard rock band to come out of canada. If you love high soaring vocals like TNT, Shy, Steelheart you will Love this singer Jerry McGhee one of my top 20 vocalists. Sure they use keys like Europe and Van Halen but to great effect. The songs are heavy but yet very melodic, check out amazing tracks like Outlaw, Hangin High and dry, One more try, Unleash the rage you will be singing every word. One of the best of the eighties. Play it Loud. Jay from Australia.

Su mejor disco ,con toques AOR y una gran produccion ,interesante

From: Kryiis Karl Date: January 17, 2004 at 5:21
Usually I try not to be too bad with bands I dislike but... This is nothing interresting... To have in a collection for fun... Nick O'Brien should get a second album in his collection because you can only consider this has being the best thing ever when you only have 1 release in store... It is not as bad as Thor releases but...

From: Rycheage Date: February 8, 2004 at 18:44
There are some incredible tracks on this CD. 'Outlaw', 'Hangin' High And Dry','Ride The Rainbow', the wickedly heavy and entertaining 'Power Overload' as well as the sonic attack of 'Shooting For Love'. My favorite would have to be 'Who's Foolin' Who' which has a great combination of keyboard layers and high octane vocals from McGhee.

From: ROB GARCIA Date: March 20, 2004 at 14:40
take a deep breath...what a fantastic album this is! wow! i bought it when it came out and it hasn't stopped playing in my cd ever since.what you get for your money's worth it's an excellent hard rock with some guitar punch and plenty of keyboards to keep the whole thing balanced. production is top notch and kenny mcghee sings like there's no tomorrow...what a performance!!wow!!.the material is very consistent throughout the whole album and doesn't let the side down at all.real classic stuff!!!.

utter rubbish

From: TIM (2) Date: June 4, 2004 at 4:08
This was their finest moment, and despite being better produced than the debut it still wasn't that well produced at all. Great songs, "Outlaw" and "One More Try" are my faves. Think the latter was a pretty big hit in Canada. The vocals are an acquired taste, but the quality of songwriting and musicianship is superb.

From: ^Rockhits^ Date: September 16, 2004 at 2:15
As good as the debut was...this was utter crap. Think of Supertramp with guitars. There was a reason this cassette was in the bargain bins and the debut never ended up there.

From: Geoff Date: September 19, 2004 at 0:02
Tjis is a great one - much better than the debut, IMO. 'Outlaw' and 'Hangin' High 'N' Dry' are cool melodic rockers, 'One More Try' is my favourite track, and a beautiful sentimental melodic gem, 'Who's Foolin' Who' comes close too - prime melodic hard rock and also very close to being my fave, 'Love Slips Away' is a great balladic track too. Overall, I don't love the vocals but musically they're excellent and the songs are great too! Great CD!

From: z4roxx Date: February 25, 2005 at 18:31
It's hard to find the best B.R.cd to me,all 3 cd's are excellent but maybe I prefer a little more this one because it has a good production as their last cd(that it's better about production anyway)and the melodies like their debut.I think the singer is not the right type of voice for this kind of melodick hard rock,IMO.Geoff, what do you think about this singer?Reminds me to Cinderella or those kind of vocals,I don't want to speak about Immaculate Mary or Tornado Babies ahaha!!

From: metalmaniac777 Date: January 13, 2006 at 18:34
The dullest of the band's 3 studio CDs. Production improved from the debut, but the band softened their hard rock with too much AOR influence, overusing keys and basically castrating themselves, losing their edge, balls, or whatever you want to call it. If you take a deep breath around this CD, all you'll smell is garbage (OK, maybe that's too harsh, but you get the idea). Some folks have a deep affection for this album...I have no idea why, because it certainly didn't take my breath away...

From: z4roxx Date: December 9, 2006 at 12:25
With”Love machine”and”Take a deep breath”I can put these guys among my faves 10 bands from Usa/Canada indeed.Except a forgettable debut these 2 cds’are spectacular. This one in particular is more melodick than the last one with all researched melodies, simple guitar riffs but catchy and immediate at the same time. What a shame that this singer has sung only in this band, really a pity.10/10!!!

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: October 16, 2007 at 2:19
VERY GOOD CD 90/100 even if i still prefer the 1st album this one is a killer too ! The Jerry McGhee's VOICE is HUGE ! great stuff

From: juan carlos Date: October 20, 2007 at 12:32
Super-Recomendado. 9.2/10

From: juan carlos Date: October 20, 2007 at 12:44
Hey David! This CD Hard Rocks too! Listen "Rebels With a Cause" or "Power Overload", "Love Slips Away" or "One More Try" are more MR/AOR for sure but this album Rocks!! Cheers.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: September 2, 2010 at 21:26
I've have just gotten this one and basically it rocks from the very very very beginning!!! ,an album than is in my humble opinion,a lot better than their debut (even though both are considered their most emblematic albums and probably they are ! ),"Can't Stop The Earth From Shakin'" is an excellent catchy starter,"Outlaw" solid as a rock & catchy 2,"One More Try" is a highlight,a song that hooked me up! ,"Ride The Rainbow" also catchy,"Rebels With A Cause" melodically rocks!,"Who's Foolin' Who" amazing,"Love Slips Away" is a nice song and the best of the album is the last one (at least 4 me)"Unleash The Rage" killer, melodic, fantastic!!!! ...the band has some Heavy Pettin similarities here and there (if u want 2 know how they sound like in here but obviously just as a reference because the band has its own personality)..anyway,buyyyyyyyy!!!!.94/100
