The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular King's X CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. This music has a tension and aura that I really like. It is loud and brash but in the same instance beautiful and striking. You have to have a strong leaning towards metal and prog to dig this music for what it is worth. This band is one of the most talented today and for some reason they have never broke it big like they should have.

King's X...what a band. One of the most highly respected among thier musical peers. I was, however, a little dissapointed in thier latest offering...except for a couple of tunes it just didn't hit me in the "yeah!" spot like thier stuff usually does. Btw...had the pleasure of speaking with Robert Plant and his new band last Wednesday....Robert is an amazing guy. His show here in Kiev was nothing short of awesome...honestly, we were "stunned".

I was very lucky indeed to have seen them 6 times. The last was on the Faith, Hope, Love tous in Nottingham (England.) It still remains the best concert of my life. It out shone Rush, White Sister and Kansas which I was able to get to. They have a beautiful dynamic. It was all made special by the fact that non of the band displayed any sence of ego during all the shows. The best live performances I have ever been privy to.

Surprisingly the songs recorded on this release are old material, prior to their first release !!! All the songs were written 16 years or more ago... King's X is very special and unique. Great news of double live CD is now for sale...so long awaited live recording. Thought Doug Pinnick intended to wait to celebrate his 60th birthday to offer the fans a live recording (should have then waited about 5 more years). this band really deserves support from all music lovers. Over my head I hear Pinnick

Nile Rodgers was quoted as saying... "King's X is ridiculous." Rest assured, he meant it in a good way. This is one of the greatest bands to ever come along and if you haven't listened to them, you have truly missed out on something special. Three top notch players, writing incredible songs. Deep, meaningful lyrics. Soulful vocals. Amazing harmonies. This band has it all. I've seen them a bunch of times and I'm still blown away. Highly respected, but never as successful as they should've been.
