Richard Marx! Classic POP/LiteAOR Artist. "Now And Forever" and "Right Here Waiting" are classic FM ballads. "Angelia" is my all-time Marx´s favorite song. 9.3/10 |

Another artist I was always rallying to be accepted into the HH's database so I guess I have to write something now. Being a huge fan of Marxy I can easily pick out songs that I think were overlooked and not included on this compilation. However, for the average casual Marxy fan and for those new to his music, this really is a good compilation and covers his best and most well known songs from the 80's and 90's. I must point out though that some of Marxy's best works actually came later on in his career and can be found on his 2000 album 'Days In Avalon' and 2004's 'My Own Best Enemy'. PS The songs 'Angelia' and 'Take This Heart' are pure melodic rock bliss. |

"Playin' With Fire" is one of his better, and harder, songs, and should've been on here. "Satisfied" is all right too, but a lot of the rest is verging on dentist's-waiting-room music. |

"Hazard" was a good one too, and the story, and accompanying video, were not what you'd expect from the guy. |

As with the Bryan Adams compilation, RM's best stuff is on his solo discs not here, so search the full albums out instead, especially 'Repeat Offender', 'Rush Street' and as fahrenheit quite correctly says above, 'Days Of Avalon' and 'My Own Best Enemy' which are all very fine albums indeed. |

Is this an example of an American finally admitting that someone called Marx was right after all??? |
