If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular KISS CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from KISS are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

...........zzzzzz The money machine makes another Best Of release. |
From: Chris | Date: April 13, 2004 at 16:13 |
This thing definately aint no 'Best Of'. C'mon 'New York Groove'? Don't make me shit myself laughing too much. What is wrong with these shite labels who take this piss all the time for a few lousy bucks. |

I mean is there really any reason anymore to leave comments about Kiss "greatest hits" releases anymore? They are what they are and there's a billion of them. These are probably incredibly cheap to produce and you're guaranteed at least about 100,000 sold to the die-hards so it must be profitable or else we wouldn't see so many of these. I think s#@t like this might be more record company suits than Mr. Stanley & Mr. Simmons themselves. If you only get 1 Kiss cd it's not bad I guess. |

Yet ANOTHER compilation of old stuff! It really pisses me off that they've more or less disowned everything their "makeup-less" era. If you want old, pick up Double Platinum. This is just so redundant... |
From: Christine | Date: April 15, 2004 at 3:48 |
OK, I guess I should say that there's a whopping three songs from the Kulick era... which should have comprised at least half the album. |
From: Great Dane | Date: April 15, 2004 at 21:47 |
And to be honest, Theyre not really a good band. Many bands are FAR better musically. They just found a gimmic, which made them popular. |
From: Great Dane | Date: April 25, 2004 at 22:24 |
If you look at their last 10 releases.... 1 is good.(Revenge.) 6 out of 10 are compilations (Incl a lame unplugged cd.) 1 Is a 'throw away' release. 1 Is ''descent'' (Hot In The Shade) 1 Is Psycho Circus which is a well produced load of crap. 2-3 good tracks are NOT enough from a band that have the stupidity of thinking they are the '''''hottest'''' band on earth. |

By this time I was tired, burned out of Kiss. I didn't buy anymore Kiss stuff period. This was not Gene's idea as much as another company that was interested (I Think)in releasing a greatest hits. From what I gather the song list looks pretty good but I have lost serious interest. |

Sorry Gene, you ripped my last dollar off long ago you shameless profiteering wanker. Kiss is for the fans, the fans made us, what a total load of steamy turds. If kiss is for the fans then we'd like more than 2 studio albums in 12 years. One of those you didn't even want to release. Way too much crap, casinos, merchandise, kiss stores, fvck off. Its supposed to be about the music. Touring is good but a studio album is what we all want. The crap demos on a box set will only keep us going so long |

Gene is KISS PT88, if the record company wanted to release this, Gene signed off on it. |

Kiss will sell the fans anything....Except New Music!!They just don't have it anymore....Not that they had alot to begin with( And I'm a Fan). They need to get Ace and Peter,go somewhere remote with a Great Producer,(and sharp shooters to pick off the Desmond Child's of the Rock world)and write the songs Themselves..with NO Help From Outside Musicians Either!!!! As for this Release...Well they could do Better!! |
From: Fat Freddy | Date: October 12, 2006 at 13:30 |
"God Gave Rock N Roll To You II" has no business being on any "BEST OF" Kiss album... I hate that frickin' song, always have, always will... By the way, we've had enough compilations and live albums now Gene, how about some new KISS music?? |
From: kai | Date: July 13, 2008 at 21:52 |
Another Kiss compilation album, but by far not the very best of them. Almost anythting from the non-makeup era, omitting hits from albums like "Animalize", "Asylum", "Crazy Nights" & "Revenge". I still prefer the more comprehensive "Smashes, Thrashes & Hits" or the Japanese "Chikara" |
