The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular KISS CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from KISS are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Another Best Of from Kiss?!?!?!?1 ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz..................

From: Chris Date: September 16, 2004 at 21:33
Oh my God. Not another 'Best Of' by the band. This one though does feature Kiss in their more Melodic groove (no bad thing in my book) and it features some wonderful tunes. Again this is one for the collectors only. Great compilation though.

From: Rycheage Date: September 16, 2004 at 22:03
At least it's not the same boring tunes. Finally, some different ones. Doesn't mean I'm gonna give Gene & Paul my $$$.

From: CurtisLoew Date: September 17, 2004 at 13:13
If they replaced "Thrills In The Night" (or "Creatures Of The Night") with "Who Wants To Be Lonely", this would be a damn near perfect compilation of 80's Kiss. Lord knows, I'm not buying a bunch of crappy Kiss discs to get a few gems, like "Reason To Live."

From: Rene Date: September 17, 2004 at 14:19
I love the song THRILLS IN THE NIGHT and also CREATURES OF THE NIGHT, but WHO WANTS TO BE LONELY is also a classic track from the 80s.

From: GlamHellion Date: September 18, 2004 at 7:32
Enough Kiss compilations already! BUT, I have to say its ABOUT TIME they released an '80s-only best of! The band's best era in my opinion. I agree though Who Wants To Be Lonely should be there, along with Turn On The Night! And maybe replace All Hell's Breakin' Loose with the underrated gem A Million To One!!!!

From: GlamHellion Date: September 18, 2004 at 7:37
One more thing, it's no coincidence that 11 out of these 12 tracks were written & sung by Paul Stanley! He IS the talent in KISS and the reason this era is in my opinion their best musically is because Paul was the man running the show instead of Gene!! I've gotta say this is the best KISS best-of album to have come out yet, it would easily get the most play out of all their best ofs from me, though I won't be buying it coz I have the albums anyway and enough Kiss best ofs!

From: Tony Date: September 18, 2004 at 13:03
Hard for me to believe there are still people out there who think these "20th Century Masters" have anything to do with the band members. Obviously these are record company products with most likely zero input from the bands. I think the same fans who go "this is just put out by the band for more money" are the same people who read "The Star" for their news source. Off my soapbox though, a good greatest hits cd if you want to check out the non-makeup era.

From: Great Dane Date: September 26, 2004 at 16:18
They make me sick. Theyve made 3 good albums. Kiss Alive, Destroyer and Double Platinum.............That covers just about all thats good about this band. I love their Image and their shows, but musically their talent are very very very limited. Give it up guys, or atleast stop releasing these lameass 'best of'.

From: CHIRO Date: October 3, 2004 at 11:44
Kiss Rules!!!!!Another compilation yes...but well is KISS...they command jajaaa

From: pt88 Date: January 20, 2005 at 14:55
Saw it in store and it looks like more later day Kiss. That is refreshing. That's about it.

From: KISS wanker Date: February 13, 2005 at 11:54
Hey great, I only have all these songs 5 times already. Better pick myself up a copy because I'm a numbskull.

From: LUST Date: March 19, 2005 at 1:32
Need another house Gene????? HOW ABOUT A F&*KING NEW ALBUM WITH NEW MATERIAL AND NOT THE SAME SONGS I ALREADY HAVE 13 TIMES.

From: pt88 Date: April 1, 2005 at 16:13
well for obvious reasons the boxsets are not here and it seems in general fans bicker more about the later non makeup albums.

From: poproxx2007 Date: September 1, 2007 at 2:24
best of KISS-say no more!! And GlamHellion you said it best-PAUL is KISS and these are they're best songs.

From: Muddley Date: December 10, 2008 at 4:23
I Hate Kiss. They have their spot in music history.....but they keep annoying me with the releases like this one. I dont think they ever wrote more than 10 good tracks, but they keep releasing an endless stream of garbage. Their latest is called Kiss Icons............Cmon Gene and Paul...release some new stuff instead. In my eyes youre looking pathetic.
