Of all the KISS albums, this one is one of my very favorites!! Even though this album sports disco big time, I love the songs and how they are written and performed!! THIS is truly a GREAT KISS album!! You may have to listen to it and let it grow on you, but you'll love it!!!!!

From: nighttiger Date: November 28, 2001 at 22:23
I have to agree. I've always liked the Kiss albums that got away from there heavier stuff.the songs on here are cheesy.but still one of my favorite albums.

From: Curious B Date: February 1, 2002 at 6:29
This album is quite the departure from any previous KISS music. Disco mixed with Hard Rock and Cheese. It's got some great moments like "Hard Times, 2000 Man and Save your Love" (All Ace Songs). The hit "I was made for loving you" is a KISS classic. It's a must for the ultimate KISS fans.

Incredibly disjointed effort and sounds like a band that's going through tons of turmoil. When it's good (2,000 Man, Sure Know Something) it's great but now in 2002 sounds like a band just adrift at the time. I've always dug the sound on this album but not a great intro to someone discovering Kiss for the first time.

Dynasty is a good word to use when talking about KISS. These guys were like the used car salesman of rock n roll! They really knew how to sell themselves. Give credit where credit is due. KISS can steal the show when it comes to marketing. They also made some great music!

From: RichieRocker Date: September 16, 2002 at 21:34
I totally agree with you Jason FAQ. I like all the songs on this album my favorites are "Sure know Something' And "Dirty LIvin" "Charisma" is pretty good too. This album was kinda a change in style. I t has a little disco influence.

one of the things i admired about 90's bands and there fans was that they were willing to try/accept different styles.kiss started changing with this album and even though it went platinum, they lost a huge portion of their fan base.kinda unfair because this album is good and the so called "disco"songs actually rock hard.i love"charisma" and "sure no something",and the rest is good also.but then again i was glad kiss got back to pure rock with "creatures"...

From: Great Dane Date: March 7, 2003 at 19:27
I was made....bla bla and Charisma really suxxx. The rest is good RNR.

PERFECT THIS ONE BLOWS ME AWAY!!!!!!

From: keebler Date: May 28, 2003 at 4:12
i like this album it's differnt but still good.

From: John Date: October 17, 2003 at 15:21
Anyone notice this is the album that Stanley's voice get WAY better? His vocal on 'Sure No Something' is solid as hell. Ace kicks it once again on '2000 Man. Kinda spotty, but still solid. 7.5/10.

From: jack Date: June 8, 2004 at 6:35
This is a great hard rock album by kiss. Much better than the unmasked album. Two thousand man is the old rolling stone classic but its better sung by kiss.ratings:9/10

From: Rockhead Date: June 8, 2004 at 10:00
Kiss go DISCO!! Not happy to be falling behind musical styles, Kiss pull this one out of the bag!! It is OK with some truly great songs (even if one is a cover) including Hard Times and Sure Know Something. Some absolute shite is also present including Gene's egofest Charisma which is soooo tongue in cheek it misses funny. Great cover some good moments but not their best.

From: metalhead Date: June 8, 2004 at 18:31
If you area true Kiss fan then it doesn't matter if they have one or two albums that don't quite make it. They have influenced and inspired hundreds of wannabe rock bands all over the planet. They must be doing something right. I have follwed this group for decades and at the grand old age of 41 I still think they are one of the best all round rock groups ever. 10/10 for showing the young ones how it should be done!

I Was Made For Lovin' You = classic. good album

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: April 23, 2006 at 12:23
!!!NOOO NOOO WHAT HAPPEN HERE, Santa Madre de Dios que esta pasando aca veo tantos comentarios en otros albums y este SUPERCLASICO no tiene lo que se merece, es una falta TOTAL DE RESPETO a uno de los grupos mas grandes del Rock, por el solo hecho de tener un tema como I Was Made For Lovin' You uno de los temas mas grandes de todos los tiempos KISS alcanzan el olimpo del Rock Charisma(BRUTAL, KILLER) & Sure Know Something son otras 2 joyas mas, LONG LIFE KISS 9/10.

From: evileric71 Date: January 6, 2007 at 22:48
This album is one that I have an on again off again love for. I can appreciate it for the craftsmanship of the songs, which was brilliant. At the same time, I have to give a thumbs down to a band who claim that they don't follow fashion to have done this album and Carnival Of Souls. Both albums find Kiss more than happy as a pig in its own shit to follow the fashion of the time. And just so we all know.....Peter does NO PLAYING on this album or on Unmasked. It is Anton Fig. Peter also does not p

From: evileric71 Date: January 6, 2007 at 22:49
Peter doesn't play on this album, Unmaksed or Psycho Circus. Anton Fig is the man on Dynasty and Unmasked and the skin basher on Psycho Circus is a guy by the name of Kevin Valentine.

RECOMENDADO

I am suprised that no one on here knows that 2000 Man is a Stones tune. Also, this is a great KISS release.

From: Put-Put Date: August 10, 2009 at 14:43
Still a Good Album but for Kiss i think this album can't not mess with the other seventeen albums 'i was made for loving you' really sucks i thing this is not real kiss this is disco-Pop but two thousand man and charisma really rocks

From: pie75 Date: July 26, 2010 at 1:01
out here in australia i was made for lovin' you was massive and still one of the most overplayed songs on the radio it shits me because it's a passable song at best and i wouldn't and don't hand that song to people to try and get them into kiss it's well known peter was finished and didn't play on this album just as ace didn't play on destroyer there are still some good songs on here that make it hol up at least sure know something is great 2,000 man, charisma is gene's ego but kind of ammusing and cool and magic touch was good also not one of their greatest albums but worth a listen and you can get it cheap now
