Well well very hard release to describe. It does have that feeling from the first release yet it is different. A bit laid back with lots of acoustic guitars but very well mixed into the songs. What I felt the cd had was lots of feeling. They really put their souls into their music. It will never top their first release but I have to say it was very good. Come Undone tries to capture the feeling of No More Broken Dreams yet it is a bit laid back. Great song. Oil and Water is kind of a melancholic piece but it is cool. Innocence is another cool rocker in the vein of the first release. Never Gonna see you Again is a kind of heartfell ballad. The chorus should hook in your head quite good.Seven Seconds is another cool rocker. Midnight Blue has to be my favorite track. Weird intro but the chorus is a great rockers dream with a very solid guitar lead. There maybe one or two fillers but maybe with time they may grow into me. Solid album for the older souls.

"15" is not a serious rating.Sorry to say fella aorluver..This is a quality and mature release from start to finish.

Agree with GTJ...15 is not a serious rating. I think it is kind of an unfair rating and most likely aorlover didn't give the cd a chance. This is top notch quality and mature music.

Superb CD, in vein of Giant, Winger, Bon Jovi!

Top album - possibly my fave album of the year. Bucks the trend of the "by numbers" state of many current new releases.

I went with an 85. I first saw the vid on Blabbermouth and bought it from Amazon since it was only $8. really nice AOR that is full of hooks. What I like about this is it is on the heavier side of AOR. Not so much Giant as someone alluded too which I would classify as pop.

Very Good Hard Rock & Melodic Rock with some of U2 style, fav tracks "We Come Undone, Innocence (The Song), Seven Seconds & Midnight Blue" 85/100.

Well first up I gotta say cyclope above has described this release rather well so read above then continue here ... This is a quality release and much like many of their contemporaries from the era, Beggars&Thieves have matured in both subject and style and here offer a release that while may not appeal to all the fans of their original release, will most certainly satisfy those who are prepared to grow alongside em. Hats of to the epic WeComeUndone (although can't agree it attempts to be BrokenDreams ptII Oil&Water leans heavily on acoustics and is wonderful, NeverGonnaSeeYouAgain while soft about the edges hangs in yer noggin forever, beautiful tune, Innocence is the hardest hitting of the bunch which to be fair the album suffers some for not having enough of, SevenSeconds almost redeems that complaint & the epic finale that is WeAreTheBrokenHearted is the closest we get to the brilliant debut and worth the price alone. Far from perfect but magnificent nevertheless. Rating 8.5
