Well. I dont really know this band, and have no comments about them. I was looking for some Savatage reviwes, but found none. How come, theyre one of the only bands ``keeping up the flame```

From: James Date: November 23, 2002 at 22:40
Worth having for tracks 7,5 and 2. I would say if you find this in a used cd store pick it up, you will be well pleased

From: koogles Date: December 1, 2002 at 10:48
The rough-voiced singer does the material a bit of injustice.

From: James Date: December 1, 2002 at 11:14
Yeah, it is a rough voice but if you like Britny Fox I think it is similar to the sound of BF with Tommy Paris

From: Rycheage Date: April 5, 2003 at 0:58
Excellent hard rock with a gravel-voiced singer. I could take or leave the singer but the musicians are top notch!!

If anyone knows anything about John Blaze's whereabouts(lead singer) please contact me, I know he has an italian last name. I jammed with him in 1991(with a german band) and need to contact him for a new project. URGENT!!! peterpotens@yahoo.com

Great CD, one of the best out there! if you don't have this you need it!!

From: Kip Date: August 31, 2004 at 18:11
Melodic hard rock done well but not great. The terrible production quality brings this down (especially in the good opener Till The Day I Die, in which the backup vocals sound like they was recorded on an audio tape in the room next door) Some very average songs plague the majority of the CD, and there's no super standout. The two very good tracks are the melodic Runaway Renee and the rockin' The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter, which is just as good as Dreamhunter's song by the same name. 4.5/10

This is a very rough CD, but I guess it's good enough. I'd probably give it a passing result, but not much more. Some pretty cool hard rock songs, but the vocals are a bit harsh. The first three are cool songs, especially the first one.

From: z4roxx Date: February 12, 2005 at 21:23
I like a lot this band, stunning tunes and catchy hooks, very few fillers and some superb songs.Scarecrow rocks but only in this one,the other cd is forgettable, boring and modern...

From: Zinatra99gt Date: February 18, 2005 at 17:26
Ok, now for my two cents. I think this album rocks really good. Yea, there is room for improvement, on the guy's voice. But its not really the worse. Remember the guy who did the vocals in V2....I can't exactly remember the guy's name because they had two vocalists....I know one was Tommy Heart from Fair Warning. One's voice was rough......not unlistenable. Tracks one and five are great rockers as well as the others. Track 2 is a good ballad. This and Arabia were both good.

From: headbanger4life Date: February 15, 2006 at 0:29
After reading some of the comments above, I'm going against the majority because I liked the vocalist. This is good straight ahead hard rock. I have the Japanese version so maybe thats why the production sounds better to me.

From: juan carlos Date: May 10, 2009 at 1:44
Yep i like the vocals too, Bruce Dickinson is a good comparison. "Till the Day I Die" is an excellent opener and one of my favorite tracks here, "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" wow that song reminded me to Omen! "Brother Louie" is a filler to me, overall itīs a consistent album. Good guitar solos/Attitude. 8.7/10

From: Swedish Rocker Date: May 10, 2009 at 12:46
Never heard of this band before. I thought. But when I saw the titles of the songs almost all of them sounded strangely familiar, and then I realized this or almost the same album as Arabia's "1001 Nights". And that album was an okay album.

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: May 11, 2009 at 6:03
Good CD 80/100 melodic HARD ROCK with a great raspy voice ! to SWEDISH ROCKER :Yeah you're right it's almost the same band and some songs like "till the day i die"/"runaway renee"/"love love me do"/"brother louie"/"the heart is alonely hunter" are the same that you can find on "1001 Nights" by ARABIA

From: shoemaker Date: April 2, 2011 at 11:45
THe first three songs plus nuber five are strong hardrock songs for fans of BANGALORE CHOIR. Than the album begins to stink.

From: metalmaniac777 Date: June 8, 2011 at 14:51
John Blaze's voice is rough enough to scare small children, but it actually works fairly well within the context of the cranking commercial metal on display here. The production is nothing to crow about, especially on the first track, which is unfortunate as that track features some of the best hooks of the album. That said, while the production leaves quite a bit to be desired, there are some really good songs to be heard if you can force your ears beyond the muddy sonics. No need to make a beeline dash to obtain a copy, but it's definitely worth picking up somewhere along the way.

From: hair metal again Date: June 11, 2014 at 2:24
excellent hair metal release by SCARECROW back in 92!this is better than stated in the comments above and has a lot of depth !their sound reminds me of a rougher HOUSE OF LORDS and it s impressive that after every spin it always gets better!all the songs are great and this is essential at least!
