IT'S GREAT TO SEE THIS AWESOME BAND GOT THEIR NEW RELEASE! IT IS NOT EASY FOR A METAL BAND KEEPING THE SAME STYLE NEVER CHANGE FROM 80'S TILL 2000'S bumpED BY THE GRUNGE,NUMETAL,ETC! MANY BANDS derogate METAL MAINSTREAM LIKE DOKKEN,STEELER,WARRANT AND THEIR FANS derogate THEM! SO LIONSHEART-ABYSS I THINK IT'S A GREAT METAL ALBUM IN LAST 10 YEARS THAT YOU CAN'T MISS!!! |

This is another fine release by Mr. Grimmet & CO . Excellent mix of heavy metal and hard rock , the way I like .Steve Grimmet has an incredible voice and I hope he never stops carrying the flag of hard rock and metal. Well done boys ! |

Ten years between Lionsheart albums, but still quality throughout and sounding alot heavier here.Steve's voice still going strong with a ton of range.Probably not on par with and compared to the classic first few,but still f-n rips nontheless...hopefully they'll put out another in the near future. |

I'm a huge fan of the first three cd's but this one isn't on par with them. There isn't the melodic, hook laiden guitar of the previous" Lionsheart sound".This sounds more like a Grim Reaper cd.Steve Grimitt's voice is still incredible but he doesn't get to shine as much here with the straight forward assult of the guitar playing.Faster isn't necessarily better and that is true here.Being a fan of the group I have to give this cd a 7/10 at best.Sorry guys. |

Disappointing compared to their other records, but by no means bad. Grimmett still howling after all these years. What a voice that guy has! |

This is the only Lionsheart album that i own(bought it a long time ago but never had the chance to write a comment about it)...well Steve Grimmett is one good singer, perhaps always underrated, shamely, who had his most notorious moments with the mighty heavy metal band Grim Reaper in mid 80's,since then what he's done in music has been more or less underground...this was a simple album to me(decent overall)with some good songs such as the solid mid tempos of "I Need Love" & "If You Cut Me" plus these rockers "Screaming","All I Got" & "How Long?"...70/100 |
