Listening to this live album as I type, personally I think the lead vocalist Gronwall sounds like a pop singer trying do rock. Makes sense as I think he's a ex Sweden Idol contestant). He has range, but he missing some depth (balls) and doesn't know how to work a crowd live IMO. HEAT was in the states a few months ago in Chicago for MRF4 and he looked like he was having a epileptic seizure behind the mic in his RED fruit boots. I don't care how many F-bombs,shits, or dick heads he works into his live lyrics, I just don't buy the manufactured " I'm a rocker now" bad-i-tude. According to a review by MelodicRock.com "This band is shit hot" That's very close to the rolling stone 2 word review of Spinal Tap's album "Shark Sandwich" (SHIT SANDWICH). The rest of the band are competent players live, maybe it's just me as I like a handful of tunes but I'm not crazy about the singer. Great live CD and well-performed too but they could have played more songs of their early albums such as 'Keep on Dreaming', 'Bring the Stars', 'Stay'. |

I don't like live albums that much because If they're not some shitty bootlegs then they are live in the studio with lots of post-production crap added in. Overall I enjoyed this release even if they overdubbed the choruses in 'Mannequinn Show' and included very few songs of the Kenny era. 85/100 |
