Good British AOR album full of great playing and hummable songs. "Gabrielle" inparticular is a superb ballad. |

Very Good British Melodic Rock, i donīt like the first song but the rest is Great indeed. The voice of Rick Chase reminds me a lot of Zak Stevens(Savatage/Circle II Circle) and thatīs a plus for sure. Iīd choose "Gabrielle" "By Your Side" and "Promises" as my fav songs. "Rocking In The Free World" is a rocking version of Neil Young, good choice. The only complaint is about production that is thin/flat, whatever, itīs disgusting in these times and iīm talking about in general... well: 8/10 |

Excellent cd. 9/10. This cd is worth getting but their follow-up cd (Voice of Reason) is not. The only good song on that cd is Just Another Day. But this cd is a must have. |

Good album. Best songs for me: Get Ready, Masquerade, Out of Love, Whos's foolin who, Nothing changes, Lost Inside ( brilliant !) and the album finishes off with another killer song Promises. Excellent debut but for me their follow up Voice of Reason is even a step up further. Great band ! |

Couldn't really find anything to like about this. Very soft, which would be fine if the songs were good, but I struggled to find a decent tune on the whole album. I won't be listening to this band again. |

decent btitish a o r in the vein of pulse.logic vince o regan ,guitarist of pulse plays here guitar and produce the record(great production).but i have to say that pulse is far far better than alibi.this band have two weak points first ,the songwriting laks of inspiration it s very very average.second there is a problem with the voice of the "singer".he have no voice he is very very average.the best songs are track 7 "who s foolin who" and track 12 "free world" ,a neil young cover.the rest?nothing spectacular nothing extraordinary.alibi is a second zone band. |

excellent debut for ALIBI with a fine guitar driven commercial hard rock sound that reminds me of TOWER CITY or STEELHOUSE LANE and a very good songwriting ability with songs like "gabrielle","promises","nothing changes" ,"out of love"!highly recommended ,this one was really a surprise |
