The band's best, a landmark in their long-running career. As the album title suggests, the group returns to its roots on this release and the results are a really good helping of melodic hard rock with slick, polished production, loads of hooks, over-the-top choruses, and multi-layered harmony vocals. With 13 tracks, you'd expect the band to falter somewhere along the way, but nope, they deliver on 13 out of 13. In the kingdom of AOR/hard rock, these guys rule. |

Starts off average but picks itself up at track 4 and turns itself into a good album with some very good tracks. Not bad at all 7/10.Will get better with more listens. |

Great release from the Euro rockers, really great simple melodic songs. Standout track is Heaven in Black & My Little Princess both tracks instantly send me back to 2000 (one of the best years for melodic music ever). Other standouts Only God Knows and the epic Sea of Love which is a Monster! Also very bizarre version/remake of Kiss him Goodbye @_@ 8/10 from me. |

Very pleasant release by Axxis!!!..melodic HR with some metal added here and there and with even some AORish moments such as in the track "My Little Princess"..."Shadowman" starts the party being a pretty rocking track,"Like A Sphynx" great!,"Flashback Radio" loved it,one of the best of the album ,"Heaven In Black" a catchy one,"Without You" nice & "Ice On Fire" rocks...recomended for sure..92/100 |
