This is more Westcoast/Hi-tech-POP/AOR than "The Rhythm Of Love" album but it´s a good album indeed. "You" "Something" "I'm In Love" "Loosing You" are my favorite songs. 8.4/10 |

another excellent album from LAVA. Not quite as strong overall as the following studio album "Rhythm of Love", but some songs here are truly among the best they ever did like "I'm In Love" or "Sophie" |

Got recently the re-edition of this album mainly because i owned, probably, the band's best effort "The Rhythm Of Love" a long time...well "The Rhythm..." seems to be the unbeatable one(i haven't heard their other releases,so,let's see)...in here we have that typical Hi-Tech AOR/Pop that has characterized the band through the years but if you compare it to the aforementioned "Rhythm" it pales a lot...anyway tracks 1,4,6(nice softy),7,9 & 10(nice instrumental softy)are goodie songs 4 sure but nothing else(they didn't move my ground at all but neither found them a completely waste)...70/100 |

This was my 1st and so far only oughting with Lava, and I have to say, what an incredibly talented and proficient group of musicians, playing Hi-Tech AOR about as well as i've ever heard it played, I would love to hear this album of theres called Rhythm, but it seems none of their cd's are anywhere to be found, which really fucking ircks me, but this is a 5 star album, and I enjoy every song on it, hope to hear something more from them soon, what I cant figure out, is how they have so many Cd's out, even a greatest hits, and you cant find any of them to begin with? it's a mind fuck, oh well, I recommend this disc, like the song Fake! |

A distinctive change of direction compared to their previous records here, the music style has become much more 'hi-tech' and poppy, away from the earlier, more traditional Westcoast-approach. The hit You, brought together with diva Randy Crawford, is the obvious highlight here. |
