Axel Rudi Pell's best album by far, listen to 3. Rock The Nation, it's the best rock song for a very long time!

From: Helix Date: September 14, 2006 at 13:49
This Is A great Cd from Start To Finish best songs that stuck out for me where fly to the moon and losing the game.

From: the game Date: September 18, 2006 at 12:27
This is a totally killer cd from beginning to the end. Axel just shreds on guitar and Johnny is just amazing on vocals. Fave songs are Fly To The Moon(Killer solo), Rock The Nation, Valley of Sin(a masterpiece), Living A Lie, Mystica and Curse Of The Damned. Rated 9.5/10.

I was far too harsh on K&Q's so I'm determined not to make the same mistake twice. Fly to the Moon is brilliant, love the Gioeli chorus and Rock the Nation is excellent - so shout it out louuuud! The album is just plain great..but what's this? lyrically this album seems nostalgic for ARP's other albums! You mean the lyrics actually meant something...the oceans of time, black moon pyramid, gates of the seals, shadow zone it was all one big story! this is the conclusion! Mystica!

Even some of the riffs on this album sound like AXEL days with STEELER from back in the 80s. Less BLACKMORE and more plane heavy metal. Great simple riffs and increible good songs. Again a DIE OR BUY release for any melodic hard rock/metal fan or AXEL RUDI PELL fan of course. JUST GREAT.

Gotta get this one and check it out cause it sounds like it's a great album from the comments. I have several of his other ones and think they're great. If anyone out there hasn't checked out any of Axel's stuff, please do so. I immagine you'd like it. He puts out some great rock!

Another great album from AXEL RUDI PELL. It is hard to say it is the best, because he set such a high standard. Great hard rock. 9/10

Nothing really new here. Just another solid rock record. It's exactlly what you have come to expect from the guitar God. His formula has not changed in a decade (Not that that's bad). As usual the longer songs like "Valley Of Sin", "No Chance To Live", and "The Curse Of The Damned" are the standout tracks. It seems that the more Axel puts into a song, the better it is. Also, as usual, the vocal performance of Mr. Gioeli is epic and flawless. Axel fans will dig this one too.

Hard rock by the numbers courtesy of Axel Rudi Pell. His stuff, while quite good just lacks and change from album to album. This is straight ahead hard rock and it is quite good. "Rock The Nation" and "No Chance To Live" are by far my faves but there are really no bad songs on this.

From: BDrums1971 Date: October 25, 2009 at 14:35
I really like the songs and the singer, but I gotta say, Axel is a bad soloist. I actually cringe when his solos come up during the songs. I really can't believe no one else has commented on this. He has no feeling, and just seems to kind of noodle along. Sure, he's fast and plays alot of notes, but seems to lack feeling and direction. Great guitarists like Tony MacAlpine can play fast with lots of notes and still have feeling. Not so w/ Axel. His solos don't ruin the songs, but they sure don't help (in my opinion). Really good songs and singing, not so good soloing, and this goes for most all his cd's, not just this one.

From: BDrums1971 Date: October 25, 2009 at 14:39
And contrary to some previous opinions, I would never call Axel a guitar God. There are so many better soloist out there. MacAlpine, Malmsteen, Doug Aldrich, Neal Schon, Steve Lukather, Dann Huff and many more I can't think of right at this moment. Any of them could blow away Axel solo wise.
