This album is one of the most under-rated disc of the year !! This is for Jackyl style listeners. The vocalsist remind me of Dupree without the screech. This is what Jackyl would have sounded like if they ever grew up! Blazin guitar work is found on this album. I recommend this album !! 90/100

This album is way better than jackyl ever was. This is top notch 80's style hard rock all the way. There really isn't a bad track on this album, and is one of those discs you find yourself going back to again and again. This is hard rock the way it was meant to sound, just enough melody to make the songs memorable, but still ballsy enough to rock. Riffs and hooks galore to keep you singing at work for months. This is just one of those hard rock albums that every rocker should own

I agree with the Triple 'M' as I also hear some Jesse Dupree with more punch, less chainsaws. 'In the Heat of a Lonely Night' is the stand out track and worth the price of admission into the Metal Casino. Paste the link to see the band perform that track live. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vM5NWRhO8_U

I would not compare them to Jackyl. Their sound is closer to the mixture of Victory, Krokus and XYZ. Collectively, the band released 3 CDs ("Son of Armageddon" in 2006, "Metal Casino" in 2007, and "Rockwolf" in 2009) and each of them is just great. Awesome band!
