I bought this cd awhile ago and no longer have it so that tells the story.

From: Ralfster Date: August 28, 2003 at 3:28
Sad story, hehe ;-) You should have kept it as its just brilliant laid back AOR piece along the lines of WEST OF SUNSET. One of the most underrated CD's of the genre IMHO! Cheers R#ster

True. Very good AOR album , in typical Canadian vain.

From: jessica96fish Date: August 6, 2004 at 3:03

A REALLY GOOD ALBUM BUT IF YOU LIKE "HIGHTECH AOR/WESTCOAST"!!! MY VOTE 8/10

From: Geoff Date: March 4, 2005 at 1:05
Entirely forgettable lite AOR. IMO not a decent moment on the entire disc. Like Kat, I once owned this but sold it as quick as I could. Awful.

From: AOR freaky Date: March 4, 2005 at 2:11
Maybe not forgettable, but certainly not strong too ! Can agree with you on this one, Geoff !

From: Soggy Date: March 11, 2005 at 21:42
Did this one ever make it to CD?

From: Geoff Date: March 11, 2005 at 23:08
Certainly did make it onto CD, on Long Island Records about 1996... as noted above.

From: Ralfster Date: June 6, 2005 at 7:06
The Long Island one is a re-issue which includes two bonus tracks ("Tell Me", "I Believe.."). I have the original CD which came out on Virgin Canada in '88 as well. Quite rare that one I suppose. I'm quite surprised about AOR freaky's opinion on this gem though...

Ralfster- I also have the original Virgin version, so haven't heard the two bonus cuts on this. Certainly wouldn't agree with alot of the negative comments above, as this is a good solid Lite AOR release with definately a good song or three. Definately worth checking out if you're a fan of the genre.

From: ROBERT Date: June 6, 2005 at 20:39

Me, I Believe in This Love, Walk on the Wire, Run From the Dark

From: Jez Date: October 18, 2005 at 13:32
PAUL - It's pretty good Lite Canadian AOR and is quite rare, especially the original Virgin release which has a couple less tracks than the Long Island re-issue. Don't know i'd pay 30 Euro's for it though as there are better releases of this type around.

From: AOR freaky Date: October 19, 2005 at 3:23
Paul : I have to agree with Jez on this one. It's canadian, so it can't be really bad. Is it worth 30 euro ? Hmm . . ., that's up to you, I'm afraid. It's far from classic, it's reasonable AOR. Some good hooks, but not that heavy. If you're an AOR freak like me, it's worth having in your collection. But for the most on this site, it's not essential.

From: Nick C Date: October 19, 2005 at 17:16
Spooky with a capital SPOOK...I just ordered this CD the other day on the 17th Oct and now it's going nuts on the comments section!!! ooooooohh It's getting near Halloween!!!!!!!

From: Geoff Date: October 20, 2005 at 1:46
Hey Paul, mate I would not even think of spending EUR30 on this one. There are so many better albums everywhere (regardless of your tatses) to spend your money on it's ridiculous. I hate it and have made that opinion clear, but our tastes probably differ quite a bit. But if even AOR Freaky and Jez don't reckon it's that great, and I think you guys have pretty similar tastes, I'd really give it a miss. Maybe arrange a CDR trade with someone who still has it Good luck either way. Cheers.

Harummphh!! Just got an email from the seller saying it was no longer in stock! Bah!!! Never mind thought it was a little cheap at £3 haha!

From: PAUL Date: October 20, 2005 at 10:33
Jez,AOR freaky,Nick C,Geoff thanks a lot. Here in Greece the woners of the cd stores are the biggest thieves in the world and impose on our love about music. For example,i've spent 42 euro for FORTUNE! (american melodic rock band-not pre-harlan cage) so i don't have problem to make'em rich for one more time (bastards!).If the cd is still at the store, next time i'll grab it!

PAUL - 42 Euros for the Fortune disc - you've been ripped off mate. You can usually get it on Ebay for about $15-20. You should expect to pay around the same for this one aswell.

From: Nick C Date: October 20, 2005 at 15:35
Wow!! If that's how much CD's cost in Greece then that pretty much sucks. You wanna start buying as Jez says off eBay or Gemm, the one I had ordered was off Gemm but I got an eMail a few days later to say he didn't have it in stock anymore. As I said I thought it was cheap but then I suppose you can advertise something you haven't got as cheap as you want! :P

From: oliver Date: July 20, 2006 at 16:36
enjoyable aor-melodic. little laid back, but with some fine melodies. worth listening + buying.

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: June 19, 2007 at 20:52

From: Photochromic Steve Date: January 26, 2009 at 17:41
I really liked this one - very melodic with guitars that are loud enough - and some tracks with that much under-used instrument (in AOR), the saxophone.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: May 26, 2011 at 22:11
Pleasant album...about the songs, yes, good Westcoast/AOR ones being these my faves:"When It's All Said And Done","Tell Me" & "I Believe In This Love"...tracks 1,3,4 & 9 are also nice ones...i'd recommend it but only if you are into the "soft" part of the 2 aforementioned genres...one of the lead vocalist reminds me of Dennis DeYoung at certain passages...88/100

From: Ultschik Date: February 6, 2014 at 13:04
Indeed the virgin original is a very rare one. In the beginning of the nineties SONDI of LIR did that special rerelease because he also saw this was a pearl , a diamond. For me the Balad I WISH THERE WAS A WAY was always a very special , true loved song all over the years. So i will give it a ten.

From: CLOUD FORCE Date: December 27, 2014 at 13:47
I ve the original Virgin press, and paid it just5 euros. Total AOR masterpiece.light westcoast/AOR at its best. all songs are winners and should be a classic in every Top 100 AOR list.
