I tracked this down after liking Jack James' vocals on Kuni's F'd Up album. It's not your typical AOR, but it's pretty good for what it is. It's really light stuff, but if you like Jack James' vocal, it's worth checking out. My favorite songs on the album are Walk Through Fire, Take Me Home and No Condition. I wish Jack James would have done something more along the lines of Hard Rock/Melodic Metal though. He does have a really good voice. |

Nix had a point above...pleasant Westcoast AOR album with no hesitation,Jack has the voice to do that so quite decently...just a "friendly" release that mixes what we can call the typical ballads and AOR cuts that won't harm your ears...my faves are "We'll Be Alright"(nice solid ballad),"Take Me Home","More(Get A Life)" & "No Condition"...enjoyable...86/100 |

Very pleasant gem of westcoast/AOR from an unknown singer, who sang and performed in a perfect and personal style all the songs; The title track is the highlight of whole album!..simply wonderful!..together ":We'll be alright" and "Take me more",to mention some of my favourites;great musicians involved in this project as Michael Landau,Lee Sklar and Tim Heintz. 90/100 totally deserved..Nr. Cat.9601-2. |
