The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Hi Fer, this album is very quiet and Westcoast-oriented. Good melodies and choruses (i.e. "Holiday for Sweet Louise" "Freedom Road" "Family Tree"..). Certainly, there are some fillers or strange songs but i wouldnīt call it an avoidable album at all. Btw, "Echo Hill" and "All the Way Home" are good songs. Not for the AOR purists of course but hey! itīs not a solid album. 7/10

Very West Coast and the melodies are buried in there somewhere. I liked it when I first heard it and then grew frustrated by the lack of melody. They seem to avoid the obvious hooks in favour of a quirky sound which can grate on you after a time. Clearly the production, musicianship and sing are excellent, as you'd expect, but the lack of a killer hook makes this album 2nd tier, which is a shame.

I find it closer to Alternative Pop than Westcoast actually. I agree that the songs aren't very melodic; after listening to the whole album I can't remember any of them. It's a bit long too. Audio wise, it sounds really great, as many mid 90s productions. Rating: 5/10. Favorite Track: -.
