stronghandoflove@yahoo.com Great music. Good anthemic lyrics. Definitely worth getting. |

Nice message but boring lite AOR album that is only worth anything because guitar god, Dann Huff, played on this album. For those of you that can stand Billy Smiley you may like it. As for me and my house we'll pass. |

Everything contains Dan Huff is incredible, but that's not the only reason I love this band. Their songs are totally great. |

Their second release and my favourite of their earlier albums. The best tracks on here are without doubt the Very Toto like 'Draw The Line' and 'Walking In The Light'. A couple of the ballads do get very syrupy and the strong christian slant in the lyrics may put a few people off - otherwise this is definately a keeper and a recommended Westcoast release. |

This is an excellent slab CCM AOR from back in the day. I remember when this first came out and I thought it was just he best thing I had ever heard. It was for the time it was produced. The "Huffster" has put out some killer stuff then with Giant and the to many to mention group he has played as a studio musician for. This is peice of CCM nostolgia everyone should have. Faves Walking In the Light and Quiet Love. 79/100 |

White heart were so much different musically back in their early days. Not just cause of guitarist dan huff but the overall style was much more westcoast even if they always kept a ballad and strong pop side as they went on in later years. I'd reccommend 'Hits from the heart' (released in 2000 and all over ebay for practically nothing) if you want a good overview of the real old white heart as this is an excellently compiled budget price best of that draws only from their first three albums (and one song from their fourth live album I believe). Packs a punch even if you aren't a christian and is a neat cd. This Vital signs album itself is not bad. Worth checking out. I maybe just prefer the debut over it as an 'album'. Both are very very christian lyrics while they will probably often remind you of Toto and Airplay musically. Especially on the debut, that song 'Carry On' reminds strikingly of Airplay 'Should we Carry On' at the chorus. Anyone else agree? |
