This album has the typical ingredients to be huge if we are talking about the modern sound of rock(at first glance, sounds like a boysband but playing their own instruments)but honestly this album not only rocks but also has some hints of,may i say, modern AOR sound too!!,here and there...Pop Rock/Modern Rock could be easyly the label of the band but adding some "escapes" of Melodic Rock/AOR too..anyway to the tracks!..."Tonight" opens nicely,a good song to start an album with,"Sweet September" is a highlight,"Hazy" nice,"Colour Me Blue" apart from being my personal fave,it has that "AOR" sound in it,"Supersonic" is another good shot,"Rock'n'Roll Hysteria" is a pretty cool song (part of the lyric says..."Metallica is on you car stereo...","Take Me Away" is one of the bonus and is a highlight song...89/100..i guess this one could be appealing only if you are an open minded person... |
