Nice album, unfortunatly with a bad recording and bad vocals. Its very difficult to find here in Brazil, and isn't Glam rock. Its Hard Rock.

If im not wrong, they're from Petrópolis, a little town on the state of Rio de Janeiro. I dont know if the band exists or not nowadays. Two years ago, i went to a Hard Rock Party, to see them on stage, but the show ws cancelled, and the gig was substituted by a lot people trying to do some covers of hard rock classics. One of them was there playing these songs, the vocal, Gustavo. I really hope they exists and release a better album. This one is good, but have a weird mixing and production.

Adding some info: If you look for a really good band from Brazil, search for Dr. Sin. They're the best. The others bands here in scene are just a lot of crap.

hello from australia, i am one of a fortunate few to have this cd and it is a great cd! bought it about6 years ago. For all of us aor & melodic rock freaks justcheck out thesong ' lonely ' , this has to be one of greatest aor & melodic mid paced rock songs ever, the songs just gets you moving ! i have heard that singer gu is no ina ban called astra with intensions of reissuing the angel heart cd againand releasing the second album.

The reissue of this album is out. I have it for a lot of time. It have 2 bonus tracks and a much better overall sounding than the original release album. I never heard nothing about a new band for Gustavo or any of their members, but i dont doubt they 're trying new bands here in Brazil. Unfortunatly, the hard rock scene here is very poor and the bands dont have almost no one place to play their sounds... :-(

There's a new band out on the brazilian scene called Astra, and I think one of the members is a reminiscent of this band Angel Heart. Some that heard their material said it is pretty much well produced blend of AOR/Hard Rock. I also think that newer bands like Angra,Shaman etc...opened up the doors for other styles these days. The scene isn't the same as when Angel Heart first launched their debut. It is a bit better now.

Angel Heart's vocalist Gus Monsanto does have a new band called Astra. I had the chance to hear new material, and, guys, you won't believe your ears, it just sound amazing, aor/hard rock with soberb production, great soundwriting and 2 killer journey covers (ask the lonely/separate ways), but sadly, this 2 will not be on the release, but will appear in a future label's journey tribute (with jeff scott soto, jack russell, danny vaughn and astra, of course).

if you start with the song 'big love' you won't give this cd a chance. nothing shockin' here

From: Vitor Date: January 7, 2005 at 18:52
The band doesn't exist anymore. Gus Monsato have joined a french band called Adaggio.

From: Marcio Tex Date: January 13, 2005 at 7:33
yeah Vitor, Gus Monsanto is singin' for french ADAGGIO... about ASTRA... it seems me a fictitious band because since 2000 i've heard about them but don't see anything... c'mon let's Rock!!

From: Khalil Date: January 16, 2005 at 5:56
Marcio Tex's Eyezofire will blow your speakers. Enjoy it.

From: Realhardrocker Date: January 31, 2005 at 17:21
Unfortunately, here in Brazil there is a few people that really like or know about hard Rock. People here don't know to play or how to sound. That`s why Gus Monsanto went ou to another country to find another band. Angel Heart was a good work. Marcio Chikralla played on the album as bassist, but he liked to play in his 'great band'called MEGABITCH. Marcio Tex is a suburban thieh that stole some songs from Leo Mafra and put them on the eyezofire cd. Eyezofire is only Marcio Tex tryin` to play
