I liked the earlier material by these guys, but this approaches alternative. I would not recommend this album to anyone.

From: David Date: April 28, 2002 at 17:47
Take Me Swiftly is the a very good song

From: nitrodoll Date: August 8, 2002 at 20:30
never expected it to say, but this form of alternative music is pretty cool..aaah hell, i have to hear the first weak album by this band...dangerous toys: forever in my heart. nitrodoll1974@hotmail.com

From: Gar Date: August 11, 2002 at 18:49
I hated this one when I first heard it, but its grown on me since. Most of the songs are alternative, but "Better to Die" is a great rock song. Different than their earlier stuff, but not that bad really.

VAYA MIERDA DE CD. 0/10

From: D Date: January 4, 2003 at 20:57
This album sucks so much that I couldn't bring myself to listen to the entire thing. I promptly returned it to the point of sale & exchanged it!! Their 1st 2 albums were great but that is where my DT collection stops. By the way I don't just like Glam, but after their 1st offerings (which were great) you kinda expect the same sort of line. 'sell out' definately springs to mind.

From: Scott Date: February 5, 2003 at 14:01
Words cannot describe how much I think this album SUCKS! I am never quite sure what bands are thinking when they go for a totally new sound in an attempt to "stay current." Maybe DT really should have changed their name. I suppose there are those diehard fans who will buy anything the band puts out, but a majority of the fans want the music the band is known for. Anyhow, "The R*tist 4*merly Known as DT" is far removed from the boogie metal and pop metal leanings of their first three records. Rat

Rather, what we are given is a lethal dose of 90's alt-grunge. AMG compares the disc to NIN, Alice in Chains, and Nirvana. If that doesn't tell you something, then your probably a teenage who thinks of Nirvana as classic rock. Let the grunge bands have their grunge. Give me my metal, and this ain't it.

This cd in not so bad...different, but non bad.

From: HelltoPay Date: May 30, 2003 at 7:19
Share the Kill, Cure the Sane, Transmission and Better to Die are all great songs but the 3 previous albums are way better.

From: Sleazyboy Date: August 22, 2003 at 4:22
I think this cd suxxx...one of the worst album ever, I never pay to buy it, it smells ALTERNATIVE.if you think this is a good stuff I'm sorry dude you don't know anything about Glam Rock.1st and 2nd albums are cool, their best albums...

From: CC Date: October 29, 2003 at 10:34
Not a good album at all. When will bands like this realise that diehard fans are gonna hate it & alternative fans are never gonna buy an album by an ex glam/hair metal band?

From: Valkyn Date: February 16, 2004 at 3:13
Tell me why good Hard Rock Bands from the 80's and early 90's have to try to be something they are not? Like Alternative or Grunge...Dangerous Toys is another Disappointment to me. another Band that is trying to be a wannabe!

From: Dan Friml Date: April 9, 2004 at 8:53
Different, but I like it!

From: Date: April 12, 2004 at 22:05
Took me a while to get into after the killer Pissed CD, but I did. Cure The Sane Better To Die Heard It All New Anger Share The Kill But if you like Bowies Major Tom, then track down Transmission. When I listen to it I can't help but feel it's a follow up. Great stuff I wouoldn't be dissappointed if DToys continued down this road...

From: hairmetalbrazil Date: June 1, 2004 at 19:53

From: Gar Date: June 2, 2004 at 19:02
No es basura. Es un disco grande. Hope my Spanish is ok. This one's a pretty big departure, but I definitely wouldn't call it grunge. It's still hard rock, just not in the "hair metal" or "party metal" category. Also, it's too hard rocking to be alternative. So what is it then? I'm still trying to figure that out. All I know is that I like it. Hated it the first few times I played it, but I really like it now. It ain't for everyone, I know. But it's good if you're in the mood for something diffe

From: Zenon1970crue Date: August 14, 2004 at 1:13
It is not a bad album, as long as it is a new band, but we are talking about a band that released three great albums, if you compared this one with the previous releases, this one sucks!!!!

From: Geoff Date: March 3, 2005 at 2:17
Well, it really isn't that bad. It's more modern sounding than previous Dangerous Toys efforts, but I guess that's what time does to you. Their worst album without a doubt, but it's okay... ish.

From: Aussie Dave Date: March 23, 2005 at 17:39
Great name for the album, but unfortunately, the songs could not match the cleverness of the album title! Completely losing the hard rock tag, here they go all alternative, and thus, spelt the end for this one time great band! Cure The Sane and New Anger were about the only two tracks i could get into, the rest was either too weird, or too crap! A very disappointing end to what was once a cool down n dirty hard rock band! 4/10....

From: wings Date: December 18, 2005 at 18:21
loved the first 3 hated this one

From: 7Sinner Date: March 8, 2007 at 16:47
Well I'm not surprised that very few people liked this one. It has a definite alternative twist to it. While I haven't listened to it for quite some time, I remember that when it first came out I really liked it. At the time there was very little decent music available in North America(for that matter there is damn little today!!, fortunately Ebay has fixed that problem). Anyway I liked it then and I would not dismiss it out of hand today despite all the sleaze/glam hard rock available today(bot

From: 7Sinner Date: March 8, 2007 at 16:49
(both old and new)Bottom line give it an open-minded chance and don't compare it to their previous output since it is very different...but still a decent hard rock experience...

From: teslakid Date: August 31, 2007 at 20:45
muy buen trabajo.8.5/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: June 9, 2011 at 23:17
1995...grunge explosion...understandable...good album but nothing 2 do with their earlier stuff...about the tracks,"Share The Kill" ,"Cure The Sane" catchy,"Take Me Switftly" kick a** somehow,"Transmission" even though alternative it has a nice soft sound,"New Anger" rocks but "To Live The Lie" rocks better(in fact could be easily the best cut of the album)...if u like different approaches in music then this is yours...80/100
