Sorry...but I dont see any anything the same about AC/DC and Little Caesar. One is a pure hard rock band while the other has a much bluesier and sleazier side.

Pure class, sleazy and mean. Great album, with almost no weak point. Cajun Panther is awesome, and so is Chain of fools.

I have been a big fan of the band for 10 years in Japan. This self-titled album is terrific, so is their 2nd album "Influence". Good songs for riding motorcycle. All I want more is their reunion and new materials.

Too bad this album got lost in the first wave of the grunge shuffle. Great band and the vocals are just amazing!! One of the few cd's of that era I can still pull out today and sounds just as freash and real to me as it did in 1990. GREAT driving with the windows down on the freeway album.

Very BLUESY rock (and I emphasise that word) and roll. The guitar soloing is very good, the music not brutal, the vocals are done well & the music is not over-complicated. So with 'Little Caesar' you have a solid blues rock album but it really has no similarity or association with any of the eighties' glam bands in music or style. And last but not least, ENOUGH with these Little Caesar's pizza cracks. "Pizza pizza not music music". Haha. Dumbass. Most likely they have never even HEARD the cd.

This album is really good! Their cover of the Aretha Franklin song "Chain Of Fools" is outstanding! I also think that their remake of "I Wish It Would Rain" is better than Rod Stewart's. Other songs on here that are really good are "In Your Arms", "Drive It Home" and "From The Start." This band is like ZZ Top for the new ages.

Otro de mis discos favoritos. Si no fuera por la versión de Chain of Fools, un 10. Tiene algo que no tienen el resto de discos de Hard Rock and Roll: melodia.A primera vista parece un album de una banda sleazy rockanrollera, pero tienen un feeling y unas melodias como nunca he escuchado en este tipo de bandas. Probar a escucharlo en el coche cuando se empieza a poner el sol. Sensacional.

Great blues rock beer drinkin' music, like Circus of Power only not so angry. I was really surprised at their sound--thought they'd be a lot heavier after seeing the band pic on the back cover. I remember the video for "Chain of Fools" got quite a bit of airplay back when MTfu**ingV still played music videos.

I saw this band open for Kiss and I must say, they sucked more than a two dollar whore. Thank God they only played for half an hour. If I was of age at the time, I would've gotten seriously drunk because I would've enjoyed throwing up more than their performance.

I saw this band back in 1990 they opened for KISS (Hot in the Shade) and Slaughter, and at the end of the evening I bought a Little Caesar T-shirt and CD.... They were Great Live... Faster Pussycat was suppose to be the opening act, but had to cancel....and at short notice Little Caesar filled in "AWESOME SHOW" If anyone knows what this band is up to now let me know... Chain Of Fools was a cover of Aretha Franklin....this likely confused people back then and this brilliant album have selling numbers rather bad....in Meantime singer sounds like John Mellencamp...this is great bluesy hardrock( reminds me little Lynyrd Skynyrd)...this isn't arena rock...IMHO this music must be played in smaller arenas.....the best tracks Get Down'N'Dirty, Hard Times, In your Arms(great ballad), Midtown, I Wish It Could Rain

Great album. My brother bought this one in 1991 and I think it sounds as good now as in 1991. It's bikers hard rock, the songs rock, my favourites are Down N' Dirty and Little queenie, though. Ron Young has a great voice. Ron Young write something in this board or ask the site Metal Sludge to do a "20 questions" interview, I'm sure they would agree to do it. We wanna know what you're up to man.

A bunch of bikers with a big heart and a soft side is how I would describe these guys. Very good blues rock. The lead singer carries the songs for sure. He can sing with the best of them. Highlights include: Chain of Fools, I Wish it Would Rain and Hard Times. While I would not call this a full blown party album, I would throw it in when you have a few friends over throwing a game a cards with some brews. Nice album. Recommended.

Cool album. Best songs; Chain of fools, Down and dirty, Hard Times, In your arms and I wish it could rain. Ron had a small role in Terminator 1. Where he got his ass kicked when Arnie entered the bar ( opening scene ).

Wow, L is not a good letter for my taste in music. This one is a cool hard rock album, but IMO very plain. Nothing wrong with it, just not very inspired IMO. 'In your arms' is a nice commercial track, and 'I wish that it would rain' is a decent ballad. Average album, IMO.

Saw them open for Kiss. Honestly, very uninspired and kinda boring. They joined a minor trend at the time when bands like Junkyard came around and did their thing. I bought the tape but hardly listened to it. Nothing exciting to me. It was a zzz fest for me. I wanted to like it and I wanted to support bands Kiss supported but not in this case ....anything but original. Sorry guys ! Maybe after years I would like it who knows ..?

Hey, was lookin for this album and somehow got here...cool site.Ummm, Ron was actually in Terminator 2,not 1...the tattoo'd guy that get tossed out the bar window by Arnie, he he,anyway, a great album,had it when it was first released and was totally rocked, I hav'nt heard it in yrs but Im lookin for it,may be as simple as going to the music store...I dont know....I didnt really care for the 2nd album but 16 yrs later that debut is still on my mind...cheers

great album of that overlooked band.The followup was good too,but that one is much much better.Cover"chain of fools"sounds great in hard rock waters.There is great ballad"in your arms"which used to be my fav.of that band."drive it home"is very good. They were defenitely kickin ass when they played live-especially for bikers who loved them.Great and too bad they werent famous.They had talent.

If this genre hadn't been run over 1000 times, then this might have been a stand out album. Since it has been played the 1000 times, this is just a cheap retread. Nothing here that AC/DC and all their clones did years before. It is not a horror show, though. There are some enjoyable songs, just don't expect anything new.

However, the Four Horsemen's Nobody Said It Was Easy has it ALL OVER this disc. "Down n' Dirty," "Hard Times," "R&R State Of Mind," "Cajun Panther" adn "Wrong Side Of Te Tracks" are my favorites.

just like the follow up this one rocks.great hooks, choruses, rhythm. ron's voice is very bluesy and soulful-and i love that kinda voice. they were different from the band's of that era, who became huge, why they didn't-i don't know, they had a talent but they weren't pretty. my favs: Chain of Fools (awsome cover), In Your Arms, Drive It Home and Wrong Side of the Tracks

extraordinary first record.their best.i know it by heart.fantastic hard rock n roll with southern influence.no fillers only killers .a must have a masterpiece with a super singer and a brilliant production.unfortunatelly the japan import have no bonus track.

In agreement with all the good and positive comments above ...this album rocks from start to finish,all the tracks for me have the "great" label stuck on it so if i have to select some i'd go for "Drive It Home","Midtown","Cajun Panther","Wrong Side Of the Tracks" & "Little Queenie" but just 2 mention some because as i said some line above the whole album rocks...recommended!!!...some slightly The Black Crowes feel here and there IMO...90/100

Little Caesar were held back by their biker image (which apparently corresponded to their actual lifestyle, at least more than a lot of bands who dressed like Hell's Angels). I remember reading an interview with Ron Young where he said "In Your Arms" was actually getting airplay on adult-contemporary radio stations, until the programmers got an eyeful of what the band looked like. In the same interview, Ron blasted Bob Rock's production for smoothing out their supposedly rough sound. All of this, and yet, the first word that comes to my mind when I hear Little Caesar is "friendly." They might look like they'd beat you up, get your little brother hooked on dope and gang-bang your girlfriend, but they sound like they'd hand you a beer and a hot dog, fix your car for you, then

... take your kid fishing. Maybe some of that is Bob Rock's fault, but having heard their other albums, I think that's just how they sound. All but their most uptempo couple of songs just have a laid-back, easygoing feel that lacks the menace you might be expecting. A great band, no question, but like I say, very friendly-sounding.

very good debut for LITTLE CAESAR with Kalodner trying to find the new GNR and Geffen giving a lot of money on that but the truth is that the band didnt have that strong edge!the music and the sound are ok but the songs arent that memorable even thoughh there s a certain quality!"in your arms","hard times" and "from the start" are the highlights!good stuff just not great
