What happened to this band? Did they break up?

From: Gar Date: June 4, 2003 at 7:22
Their last album came out in 2000. Haven't heard anything from them since. SPACE IN YOUR FACE was an improvement over the debut, not that the debut was bad. It had some good songs, but this one's a little more consistant. Around the time this album came out they had a role in the Adam Sandler/Brendan Frasier comedy AIRHEADS. They played the band SONS OF THUNDER who were featured in a concert sequence near the beginning of the film.

i love the production on this cd.ahead of its time.i like most of it.they have other releases after this, but this is the best.by the way,if you do get it,there are a few hidden tracks on it.you have to scan past the end of the last track for a long time til you get it.i think their's 2.

I question the CCM designation. I'm pretty sure these guys are not in that category...not that there's anything wrong with being a Christian musician, just don't think it's the case here... Good band though, good release. You Make Me Smile and I Do What I Do are great tunes. If I'm not mistaken, Sam Taylor produced these guys too, giving the a VERY King's X-like sound. If you like King's X, I'd bet even money you'd like these guys too.

I agree with Blue Charvel. No real CCM designation !, there are some christian influences, like by the mighty King's X, but nothing more ! I also have to say that King's X is much classier than these guys. Not that it is bad (their later releases are bad), but not on the same level as the Kings !

At least early in their career they were most definitely a Christian band. I remember one of their videos getting heavy rotation on the Christian 'Z Music' channel back in the early-to-mid 1990s.

what little of their stuff i had at one time came from a Christian book store and a Christian CD Club

Heavy side of King's X when The Mustard Seeds (not on this site why?)exploited the more pop side of the powerful Texas trio. A very decent release. As for the Mustard Seeds with Matt Bisonette, Judgehead, a side project of Ty Tabor includes the Bisonette bros and sounds quite like the Mustard Seeds. Worth landing a hear on both of these bands.

Kber in salt lake city had You Make Me Smile on heavy rotation, in like 1993, that's where I picked up on these guys, I bought both CD's this one and S\T, S\T sucked, bad!!! in my opinion, but this baby never left my cd player, for like me whole 10th grade year, it kicks ass, very melodic, almost reminding me at times of C,S,&,N, yes, thats what they sound like when they harmonize, I recomend this cd to anyone who has good taste in music!!!

i was impressed by thei debut, but this one isnt so good and i think that the problem is the songs which aren t so memorable.only "if i were a killer" has a catchy tune and reminds me of their debuts brilliance.overall not bad ,but nothing spectacular though
