This band features very catchy, melodic AOR/hard rock. They remind me of bands like JOURNEY, 707 and early TRIUMPH. One of the better AOR releases out there right now. |

In addition to Delbert: The first tracks of this CD were recorded in the early 80's and for me they sound like a rough Version of Journey-not so polished, but nevertheless the Vocals remember me Steve Perry at his best time. The last Tracks are from a rare EP of the End 70's and therefore have a bit different style-the combination of both periods on this CD is nice to follow and I recommend this CD to every AOR collector. |

Cheater's style is the definition of pure, early 80s arena rock. The "Keep on Runnin"/"Line of Fire" side of Journey, all of 707's "Mega Force" and "Summer Nights"-style Survivor are what this band is all about. Jeff Cosco nails that Steve Perry/Kevin Chalfant high range on stellar tracks like "Don't Give Up", "Missing" and "Stand Up Routine" (a great "Where Were You" by Journey knockoff). If you don't have this Cheater CD and you're a Journey/early 80s arena rock fan, you're getting cheated! |

Oh yeah, i agree with all the comments above, not a classic album but it´s quite enjoyable, a bit dated at times but Really Good somehow. My favorite tracks are "What's On Your Mind?"(My fav) "Don't Give Up" "Ten Cent Love Affair" and "Tight Spot". Good AOR/MHR with a bit pomp choruses/Keys. 8.5/10 |
