|God, Im jealous of anyone who's already gotten a hold of this disc! Mine is due in roughly 2 weeks time and im counting the hours. Love every release that Slamer has been involved with and i'm convinced this will be no different.

|This cd is ok if you like AOR. The song that stuck out the most on this cd is superstar.

|One word of this album: FANTASTIC. Also the first album of Sunstorm, great ballads!

|Another great album and definately one of the best discs Frontiers have released so far in a mostly good/great back catologue. Super songs again (as with Sunstorm) especially 'Higher Ground', 'Jaded' and my two clear highlights, the fantastic 'Beyond The Pale' & 'Come To Me'. Slamer is Top class, Brock is Top class, Sound & Mix are top class - Hell! the whole thing is Top Class. Buy in complete confidence.

|One word : STUNNING. This is my album of the year 06 (so far). Musically this sits somewhere between Steelhouse Lane and Seventh Key and IMHO is probably about the best that Slamer has played on any album. Add to that a killer set of songs, Brock's vocals totally awesome and a production to die for, sums up to a monstrous AOR/melodic hard rock album. It's difficult to single out highlights as repeated listens throw up new favs each time, but.....cont......

|cont..special mention goes to 'Not in Love' which features a fantastic guitar lead intro, and a chorus that would make Journey proud. Slamer's playing on this album reminded of Schon actually esp towards the end on 'Audio Illusion' and 'Perfect Circle'. Other highlights are the knockout duo of 'Jaded' and 'Higher Ground'. 'Jaded' must be a contender for AOR song of the year..glorious harmonies! In short an essential purchase. 9.8/10

|This is a classy release - as ever from Slamer,albeit with a more Progressive element than the Seventh Key or Steelhouse Lane projects. Brock is on fire,& the harmony vocals & lead guitar work are just stunning. "Come to Me" & the mighty "Jaded" are my faves, but only "Strength..." & "Superstar" are close to average. The instrumental indulgences & 5/6-minute songs may not be to everyones tastes (including mine),but there's more than enough quality to keep most AOR/MHR fans interested. 9/10.

|Very Good MHR/AOR album, algunos toques Prog pero mayormente en el rubro dicho, Terry y Mike extraordinarios que voz y que destreza con la guitarra, el plato fuerte del album son las baladas Jaded, Strength to Carry On, Beyond the Pale, Runaway personalmente lo mejor del album, el resto de temas mas en onda Hard Melodica y Hard Rock de los cuales Perfect Circle es mi favorita, otro de los buenisimos albums de este 2006 que esta sorprendiendo 8.5/10 y otro posible disco del año.

|I must be listenening to a different Cd, This release is good but I wouldn't say it is great. I was expecting something a little better. The best track is Higher Ground. All the rest sounds like the same usual AOR! Nothing Special!! 6/10

|man, what a great hard rock release, and my second fav of the year next to Sunstorm, wow, what great songs, normally longer songs would put me off in this genre, but they do not seem long while listening, favs are Runaway, Jaded, Superstar, Not in Love, and Hground, fantabulous release of hard rock with some cool acoustic things and some cool slightly prog moments, WOW

|Fantastico, no hay mas que decir; ojala salieran mas discos como estos. Y junto con el Sunstorm mis favoritos. Aun no escucho el ultimo de Pretty Maids

|I like this, but sadly I'm 'Not in love' with it. Nice song too. It's definately more Seventh Key than Steelhouse Lane. The melodies are mind-blowing, as is the musicianship. That's not in question. But the songs just don't grip me as much as Slamer usually does. 'Jaded' is excellent and my fave, but the best of the rest ('Come to me'?) just take too long to get started and IMO the hooks needed to come quicker and more prevalent for this release to really hit the nail on the head. Good album.

|If know Mike Slamer's body of work, then you know what this brilliant guitarist/songwriter brings to the table each and every time he enters a recording studio. This project is no different as it draws musiclly from all his previous work, but goes deeper than that this time around. Perhapse it's because the moniker bares his namesake alone. Maybe that why the songs are alittle more self indulgent musiclly. It does take a while for some of these tracks to take flight, but once they do, cont...

|It is a beautiful ride into a musical bliss!!! All the trademark guitar work is here and those huge, infectious choruses that just grab and suck you in are around every corner, ready to stike. If you liked Seventh Key, Steelhouse Lane, or any of the other projects Mike has involved himself with, you will find yourself very much enjoying this fantastic release (longwinded at times or not).

Saludos. 8.8/10

|Goddess music,one of the finest albums in lats years for me.Mike Slamer is one of the biggest names ever in melodick rock scene,hoint with a great T.Brock performance and awesome musicianship you'll obtain a bomb like this"Nowhere land"cd.Marvelous one,great and fresh/evergreen melodies,it's incredible but in 2006 artists like M.Slamer try to make original ideas with a great result as in this case,10/10!!!!
||Date: October 7, 2007 at 13:36|
|huge CD 91/100 even if I still love more any STEELHOUSE LANE or SEVENTH KEY record ! But it's still better than a lot of so called AOR band out there without any idea of what an hard rock song is about ! MIKE SLAMER is a TRUE GENIUS any records with him it's worth checking ! Same thing with TERRY BROCK ....BUY or listen crap music !
||Date: May 27, 2009 at 11:53|
|This is a very average album, only 1 or 2 tracks made me want to listen. To many balady, keyboard chord (boring pad sounds), accustic guitar filled tunes, it's got that mid-late 90's-2000 rock progression sound like Sha-Boom (2005) or Childs Play, Strykken, Anxiety, and Neverland... Just not into it at all. Stick to Strangways for that 80's sound! Terry as always is great but this albums sucks bad... KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!
||Date: July 19, 2011 at 16:50|
|Who could believe that someone could deliever AOR like this these days? A true masterpiece of an album!!!! Buy or die!!!
||Date: May 13, 2012 at 13:36|
|I thought a work more strong in the veins of Steelhouse lane. Great Slamer's job but this is not a new. One of the most special guitar players without a boubt. Good sound, good guitar works, good vocals but.......it seams it needs something to be a great huge job.
