Not bad, a little keyboard heavy, good songs could've benefitted from better production & mixing.

From: TIM Date: August 9, 2003 at 14:36
Enjoyable the way it is, but would have been great with what BPG suggested. If BMG had any forsight this would have been a huge source of income. Great songs that compete with Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Cry Wolf, etc. -just needed lighter keyboarding, better production, and better promotion. Since this came out in '89 it really shows the lack of good judgement on BMG's part. Great band with the tools to have made millions and that is the bottom line in the music industry.

who are bon jovi, scorpions, whitesnake...and all the other commercial super groups??? if you here this craaft album, you'll forget all these bands very fast!!! Awesome masterpiece of the 80s!!

From: TIM Date: November 15, 2003 at 15:00
This is very good, but I am nowhere close to forgetting the bands you mentioned. I'd take any of those at their peak over this one.

Otra pequeña maravilla d 1989!! Buen disco Melodico!!!

From: Sergio Date: October 9, 2004 at 11:41
Otro excelente disco de banda alemana, con influencias de SCORPIONS ( principalmente en la voz ) y BONFIRE, pero con teclados mas presentes. Temazos: RUN AWAY, TWISTED UP..., CHANCE OF ..., RUNNIG ON LOVE y DON´T YOU KNOW. 9 / 10 En cambio, el primero es bastante diferente, más high/tech y sin tanto feeling.

From: Kim HP Date: December 26, 2004 at 16:35
Melodic hardrock at it's best. "Chance of Your Life", "Running On Love" and "Run Away" are great songs with huge choruses and "Jane" is a top-notch power ballad. I don't think there's any real fillers on this one... Overall Rating 8.5/10

From: Geoff Date: December 27, 2004 at 4:04
Awesome album - those choruses are massive! No duds here. My faves are 'Running on love' and 'Illusions' - both killer melodic hard rockers, and 'Jane' is a sensational heartfelt ballad. Honestly, a rather sensational and filler-free affair and IMO much better than the debut. Killer stuff.

Very good album of killer melodic hard rock and other songs more HARD AOR because the very strong KEYBOARDS that i love very much on this album. This is not a tipical buy or die album but just a album you need to have if you are into great hard rock.

From: metalmaniac777 Date: May 5, 2006 at 20:46
Pardon the pun, but this band knows the melodic hard rock "craft" better than most other groups in the genre, which is a long way of saying they're one of the best melodic HR acts of all time. Their sound is all big hooks & catchy choruses & generous harmonies. As for the keyboards, well, I hate overbearing keys in my music and nothing on this CD bothers me at all, so I'd say the keys complement the guitar-driven sound quite well. There are better melodic hard rock bands than this, but not many.

From: Metalmusicman Date: January 3, 2007 at 16:41
I picked this one up used one day. Having never heard the band before and having no idea what to expect. On the way home I read in the liner notes that the almighty Tommy Lee handled the drumming and thought,"well then it's has to be at least ok right"? How could I have known what I was about to behold. Pure AOR magic!!! Who in their right mind would part with this. "Put them in the shackles and flog them NOW!!!", I say! No filler in sight! Absolutely essential AOR!!!

Good disc; has 2 awsome songs: "Run Away" which is very melodic and has a big chorus but........check out the guitar solo and rythm behind it.......wow! Killer solo!! "Running On Love" is the best one here though IMO; fantastic song and very memorable chorus; melodic hard rock heaven there. "Twisted Up All Inside" is also good. The rest didn't really stand out too much for me. I always find myself listening to just "Run Away" and "Running On Love". I'll give the others a chance though more. I thought production was pretty good and the CD sounds pretty powerful all around. 80/100

BTW, forgot to add: the singer sure can sing and the guitarists sure can play!
