hmm, Frank Stallone listed and no Billy Branigan??? hmmmm, kinda light side rock well, I have on vinyl and never really warmed up that much to it, not a bad one, just ok, some really good songs!!!

Great singer (Sylvester Stallone's brother). This album has great songs as "Far from Over" (from "Staying Alive" motion picture soundtrack) and "I Do Believe in You". Frank already released others soundtracks, as "Bad Nite" (from "Over the Top" motion picture).

FRANK STALLONE – FRANK STALLONE (1984) Q Temazo tan escalofriante FAR FROM OVER d la Soundtrack del Travolta: STAYING ALIVE…

I DO BELIEVE IN YOU – Un temas del no menos Importantisimo RICHARD PAGE, otro Crack en esto del AOR / WEST/COAST.. IF WE EVER GET BACK – Absolutamente Mitica, sonido Chicago mezclado con Toto. Una verdadera Gema… FLY TOGETHER – preciosa balada Por supues

Acá si concuerdo con Robert en todo, hasta en la puntuación "Far From Over" Archi-Conocido tema, "She's So Popular" "Once More Never Again"(fina a lo "Baby Come Back" de Player) mis favoritas. Gran producción de paso. 8.5/10

A major surprise when I first heard this years back and I remember raving about this for weeks and weeks afterwards. If you like top quality Westcoast and Lite AOR, then this is a must have release. FS worked very closely with Vince DiCola (Stan Bush, Transformers Soundtrack)on this album and the quality of the pairing pays off massively in the songs and the overall product, with only maybe 2 coming up short in the final rundown. A fine mix of the likes of Toto,Player and Christopher Cross etc, this really is excellent stuff with tracks like the fabulous 'Far From Over', 'Music Is Magic' and 'I Do Believe In You' leading the way. If there ever was a case for never judging a book by it's cover, this is the cd is it. I managed to pick up a remastered version of this on Frank's own Simba recods a few years back (after watching the original versions on ebay go for stupid money)and I am glad I did, as it sounds fantastic. Seems It is only avaliable in MP3 form now though.

Love this album in its all!!!...without being a masterpiece or somethin' similar this release could easily satisfy any self respected AOR lover out there...ok this might not be the purest of AOR ever but gosh!,it has its tools well put..."Runnin'" is just a great starter,"Music Is Magic" only with that title is a winner ,"Darlin'" is Billy Joel influenced composition,"If We Ever Get Back" is a very good mid tempo song with a catchy chorus,"Far From Over" already a classic song,"She's So Popular" amazing smoothie one,"I Do Believe In You" is another good shot & "Fly Together" is a beautiful closing track...more???...get it!!!.94/100
