great album, if you liked the SKing and LGramm releases, then this is a must. Solid hard rock/aor, great production, and songs!!!! So far, Tears must fall, Wing and a prayer, Any other time, and Outside stand out for me after about 6 plays, strong aor/rock release!!! and Montrose on guitar!!!! also Carmassi on drums and Lou doing background vocals!!!

Together with Presto Ballet and mr. Bardowell, without a shadow of a doubt the strongest release of the year ! And that means a lot, cause with many class releases this has been a great year for melodic rock, progressive rock/metal and power metal. (a pity that AOR was not that strong this year. What can you expect here ? Well, it's kind of a follow-up from one of the BEST albums EVER, the mighty SHADOW KING ! Not as good as that one, Lou has a better voice than Bruce, but still a KILLER CD !

Can't make my mind up totally on this one yet. Sure,it has some quality tracks 'Living A Lie', 'Any Other Time' & 'Heart So Strong' standing out particularly, but Some of the tracks aren't as memorable & give the album a bit of an uneven feel in terms of song quality. Vocally it does have the Lou Gramm touch & the rest of the musos along with the production give the whole thing that quality stamp. Definately a good album in these lean times for quality AOR but not an album of the year contender.

Totally agree with you Jezz. Good album. But not always as consistent IMO. Certainly not album of the year contender. Still pretty good album tho.

Without a shadow of a doubt one of the CONTENDERS for record of the year. Listen to the record, read the reviews ! This is SUPERB ! What's better this year ? ? ?

Great CD! I'd compare this to the best moments the Shadow King album had to offer, mixed with elements of IMO, last year's best melodic rock disc; Shadows Fade. It is generally sultry mid-tempo melodic rock, with great vocals and solid musicianship. For me, there aren't any songs I really dislike and there are many highlights scattered throughout the whole disc. One of the highlights of the year for me, I agree, but not sure how high up. Highly recommended.

This is good,but there are records this year who's better like '91 Suite - Times They change' and 'Khymera - A New Promise' (who's probably gonna be the best release this year). There are no fillers, but there aren't any top class AOR songs either, I missing the big refrains! 7/10

Good album.However,people are comparing this to Shadowking.Take it on it's own merits and Frontiers should be proud of this release.But to say top 3 of the year,however good,is a bit wide of the mark !!!!

aorjocke is spot on, this is good CD but in a year of albums like 91 SUITE,PLACE VENDOME,WETTON/DOWNES,BAD HABIT,KHYMERA,FINAL FRONTIER, RADIOACTIVE etc,this cannot compete. The first 4 tracks are excellent,& I love the harmony vocals throughout,but the chorus never quite matches the build-up on most of these tunes. And when it's bad it is BAD (tracks 5 & 8). But it is a grower. Without comparing it to ShadowKing, I do rate it about the same as that CD: Good, but couldve been better IMO. 7/10.

Very akin to the sound of Bruce's former band Shadow King, a comparison aided nicely due to the fact that Bruce does his best Lou Gramm impression. Perhaps doesnt quite match the quality of Shadow King, but features plenty of great tracks such as Living A Lie, Any Other Time and These Tears Must Fall. Recommended.

A comlete AOR masterpeice. Brilliant voice and just about every song is a melodic gem. Nice work Bruce. Lets hope we get to listen to a follow up. You ROCK! 9/10.

Very good album!!!...Bruce Turgon used to play in Foreigner..."Living A Lie","Any Other Time","Pleasure Dome","These Tears Must Fall","Weapons Of Love","On A Wing And A Prayer","The Last Time" & "Where Do We Go From Here"(nice mid tempo)are my faves...recommended...90/100
