The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Fist CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Fist are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Also known as Myofist here in the UK (the NWOBHM was also doing the rounds at the time), this takes us back to the good old pomp glory days with the Moog keyboards, which in places reminds a little of the stuff Saga were doing on their first 3 albums 'Too Late' especially, although not in the same league. If you like the Saga sound, then you will like this guaranteed. They also released the heavier 'Fleet Street' which is also an excellent album and well worth picking up. |

Comparing these guys to Saga is like comparing Tom Arnold to John Candy. The only thing Fist have in common with Saga is the fact both come from Canada. If juvenile lyrics are what you want, then Fist is right up your alley, as the amateurish drivel they offer up is a virtual gold mine of hokey cliches any 11 year-old would fall for. Check out such slop as Teenage Love Affair from their Hot Spikes album as an example of lyrical ineptitude - it's guaranteed to induce hysterical fits of laughter. |
