Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

Let's get it straight,if you like Tim Feehan,Dan Hill albums,Ray Roper - I'm a fighter cd or Keven Jordan(No Sign of Rain album) this album should be your next purchase.Unfortunately it's quiet rare, but worth tracking down."Dance to the beat of my heart" is an uptempo, catchy Feehan alike track.Ballad "distant shores" reminds me of D.Braithwaite."Love Lives Here" is totally Keven Jordan, while "must be heaven" is my favourite, and the most AORish song(ala Ray Roper). Solid, rare canadian AOR (8/10) |

Very Good AOR album indeed! The Uptempo opener "Makin' Movies" and "Young At Heart" sound as fillers to me, the rest is all perfect. My favorite tracks are "Willy's Got A Problem"(My fav! āla Rick Springfield), "Distant Shores"(My 2nd fave!), the nice ballad "I Don't Know Why", "The Fire In Her Soul" and "Dance In The Beat Of My Heart". Yep, quite Rare on CD but itīs easy tracking down out there. ![]() |
