hey guys....it sounds like a couple of dicks from las Pas Manitoba???? I especially like Party. that triplet feal. and the album cover. How did you fit in those tight jeans ???? Mort??? |

If I remember right, the whole band was from The Pas (not las Pas). Never really got into this CD, but I bought it to check it out and kinda wished I'd saved my cash. Pretty weak affair from what I remember. |

"Stick To Your Guns" definitely sticks to the game plan of late 80s commercial hard rock/glam. Title cut features some Coverdale like vocals: this could have been a Whitesnake or an Icon ("Right Between the Eyes") song. "Makin Love" is classier still, in the Aldo Nova/Bon Jovi/Danger Danger "Under the Gun" pocket. "Missing You" is pure power ballad magic. Diving for Pearls & D2 fans will eat this up! "Party" and "She's Burning" kick things back into "Slide It In"-era Whitesnake. RECOMMENDED! |

This isn't going to blow your mind, but it's not bad at all. Good, solid hard rock. A few blatant fillers, but 'Making love' is a great song, 'Missing you' is very nice and 'Midnight rider' is also a very cool hard rocker. The guitars sometime remind me of 8084. Good solid CD. Worth $322? I'd rather plunge my head into horseshit than fork out $322 for this. |

Hey I found this same Disc at a site for 22 bucks. cdbaby.com/cd/quota Go there and forget this 300 buck shit. I know these guys personally and cannot understand how this could be worth more than the 22 bucks they're asking for it. Someone must be on crack. Oh and Koogles you are nuts, or a family member. |

Glam , I'm sure Dick and Dick and Grant will love that. I think they were going for a heavier rating than Glam Rock. How many discs have actually sold for 300 bucks? |

The price is all about the rarity but this really is a worthwhile slice of 80's L.A. Strip Style Hair Metal -- the best, catchiest and most fun form of Metal there is. There's a reason Heavy Harmonies has these kinda band's logos on the "wallpaper" that serves as the background for this site. It's fun to see people trying to avoid the connotation of Hair Metal. They are in denial and love to call it Hard Rock. Even most bands are afraid of being classified as Hair Metal but let's call a spade a spade. Just listen to "Party" on this disc and you'll be Rockin' right for a change! This thing is fully loaded with memorable Hairy Tunes! If real Barnstormers and Power Ballads get you stoked, this one's for you! 8/10 !!! |
