pretty good album from this Norwegian singer, she also has some kick ass musicians on this album......the best of the best actually.

INTERESANTE.

Good AOR album, opino igual esta version de Living in a Boy's World es mejor que la de Fiona este es mas dura y con mas garra pero el Beyond the Pale de Fiona me gusta un poco mas, este album esta en las lineas de discos como el de Alexa o Lee Aaron, en cortes Rocks Off, Living in a Boy's World, Shot Down in Flames, A Love-Forever Story lo mejor del repertorio, pero ahora me pregunto quienes an sido los criticos sin gusto que le dieron tan baja puntuacion? who put low ratings?

This is going to be released by MTM with 5 bonus tracks: Save Me Father, It's Raining It's Pouring, Too Good To Be True, If I Can't Have You, Shake You Good. Great scandi aor/poprock in vein of Tone Norum.8/10

Another top quality Re-issue from MTM and a damn good album to boot. All the Tone Norum, Joal, Fiona etc fans get ready if you haven't got this one. This re-issue also features 5 superb Bonus tracks (which I have on a Demo's cd from way back - superior versions here due to the excellent remastering) with 'Save Me Father' being an absolute belter of a track. I would go as far to say that the bonus tracks are better & Tougher than most of the actual album, which is a rareity in itself. Mega stuff.

Will have to agree with about 90% of Jez's views of this cd."Save Me Father" being a stand-out track and "Believe In Me" being an irritant until I remembered the Paul Janz version.Good overall, but I got this a week after getting the Laos cd,and imo Laos is the better of the two....Just !!

There's NOTHING to say against AINA's stuff. Just great!! My favourite, as a ballad lover, is "Believe in me" but "rocks off", "I must be in love", "Shot down in flames" (Wooww), "You babe you" or "Living in a boy's world" are all brilliant too. I rate it a 9,6/10

Me parece un gran disco la de esta noruega,Rocks off con un potente gancho melódico, believe in me baladasa con gran feeling, otros temazos son I must be in love por momentos recuerda a las Heart, shot down in flames, living in a boy´s world, A love forever story excelentes y de los bonus tracks de la reedición son realmente buenas Too good to be true puro aor! y If i can´t have you, excelente album para no dejarlo pasar 8.5/10.

For me this is the best FF rock album out there. Better than HEART's "Bad anmals" or WITNESS/LAOS/JOAL stuff as I think this is more "easy listening". Though it's very rocky at times too! --Stylewise sometimes near to compariot KATE ("Beauty and the beat"), TONE NORUM ("This time") or BURNS SISTERS ("Endangered species") and sometimes more to above mentioned bands. Songwise: Well, "Believe me" is still EXCEPTIONAL as I commended before. And the rest I didn't chance my mind too 96/100

From: newscandi Date: March 25, 2008 at 20:03
Can't praise this album enough!!!! And I never recognized that Rolf Graf is on board. But we need to have a reissue of "Target practise" as well, even if this album is by far better and stronger (the other is more "typically 80s american ballads" orientated)

From: BIG-TIME Date: April 12, 2008 at 16:49
Not really AOR it's more pop rock to me like St.Paul but it's fun if you like Belinda Carlise...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: KurtmanJP Date: December 23, 2008 at 22:06
Awesome AOR/Melodic hard rock album in the same vein as Tindrum (Drums Of War). The best songs for me are Rocks Off, Believe In Me, Shot Down In Flames and A Love-Forever Story but there's hardly any filler. The final track Pleasure And Pain sounds like Deep Purple at the start.

From: KurtmanJP Date: December 30, 2008 at 13:45
Is it just me or is A Love Forever Story a COMPLETELY STUNNING AOR song?

From: newscandi Date: December 31, 2008 at 14:27
For me "A LOVE FOREVER STORY" is a more worse song of the album. Too fluffy in my opinion -and said that as a lover of that "soft-and-cliché alike" ballads. But this one isn't "romantique" enough for me, nor a typically "big AOR" song. Well, in the end it's all about individual taste. This song doesn't do it to me, and my favourite may doesn't do it for you..

Pleasant album by Aina...AOR with some Pop/Hi Tech AOR included...nice vocals..."Rocks Off","Believe In Me"(nice soft),"A Love-Forever Story" and the following bonus tracks of the re-edition "It's Raining It's Pouring"(rocks),"Too Good To Be True"(fave),"If I Can't Have You"(fave)& "Shake You Good"(fave)are the outstanding songs in it...if you like female fronted bands or projects then Aina's release will suit you fine .91/100

From: 123charpenay Date: March 23, 2016 at 14:57
very great female fronted melodic rock.if you want a good picture of this record, imagine a mix of lee aaron and fiona :result:aina.this album is very consistant, very solid and varied.the listening of this cd is easy and nice so you ll have good times.of course i recommand the mtm reissue with 5 bonus tracks.all are excellent execpt track 14 (a very average song, the lone of the entire cd).
