This album is great. Corabie has alot of talent. I wish this band had more than one album. 10 (he was also good with the crue!)

I agree, but it still wasn't Crue with him singing. It was more like a suped up Scream! Great cd though and worth getting

From a clean musical view this is on of the real "keepers" in the hardrock/rocknroll world! Great album and strong song. He sings better on the Motley Crue album though, if I'm allowed to be picky

LOVE this cd. At the time played it constantly and really thought they were gonna be huge!! Cinderella meets Kiss meets The Faces!! Thought Corabi's voice was unbelievable and was stoked when the Crue got him. Too bad it didn't work out with that but this cd is just great bluesy rock-n-roll. This guy has been in 3 killer bands now without much success. Union's "Blue Room" should've been multi-platinum in a just world. Wrong time on the wrong planet....

I thought this would really suck because I hated Corabi with the Crue. I saw it on Ebay and forgot Corabi was in it. I realized it later and thought I'd made a serious mistake. This album is fantastic. The vocals and guitar are great.

Obviously this disc kicks major ass, but in addition you can find the complete MP3's of this AND the unreleased second album on www.racerxband.com. Can't tell ya how good second disc is, still listening to it, so far it's pretty cool.

Their un-released second album is called "Takin' It To The Next Level" and the tracks are: (1)Ain't Got Nothing (2)Another Rock (3)Comin' Down (4)Get It Together (5)Good Lookin' Out (6)It's A Long Way Down (7)Kick Back (8)Kool World (9)Love Can Conquer Anything (10)Miss Thang (11)One Foot In The Grave (12)What You See. As Blue Charvel stated you can download both their albums plus a few cool bonus tracks they did for movie soundtracks at: www.racerxband.com

To further the off-topic discussion, I listened to the second disc last night. KIcks butt although on a more funk-styled sound. Love the production, very crisp with a fat bottom end...like some of my ex-girlfriends...except much less demanding.

Excellent hard rock disc. "Man in the Moon", "Father,Mother,Son", "Never Loved Her Anyway", and "You Are All That I Need" are my faves. If you haven't listened to this disc, go download it at: http://www.racerxband.com/scream.htm * Just a note that hasn't been mentioned here, Corabi is NOT the vocalist on the 2nd, unreleased Scream disc, Billy Fogarty is.

This one's got a definite Cinderela vibe to it. Great no frills hard rock. Though nobody liked him with Motley Crue, there's no denying Corabi's vocal and songwriting talent.

Corabi is one the most underrated talents in rock. I loved the Motley album and loved The Scream even when they first came out. If you like this and the Motley record then I definitely recommend Union!

I love this album. This band needs to reassemble. Would of loved to hear what it sounded like when scott travis was still on drums(for the that heart beat of a second before the priest gig).

this is flat out one of the best asskicking albums of the eighties. the songwriting is brilliant, corabi sounds raw and amazing, bruce,s guitar tone is crisp and crunchy. not really a bad cut on the album, the high points are - i believe in me, man in the moon, outlaw .this one needs to be played real loud!!!!!!!!

i was told john recorded "man in the moon" with another band BEFORE the scream.anyone know who? john was also good w/ motley.in my opinion its the way motley should of sounded.just not a good cd.vince just doesn't have that grit in his voice, but he fits with motley.i seen john with motley at the hollywood paladium.it was cool,i love the paladium but sad the band's sales reduced them to that level.

With a name like the Scream I was expecting some great heavy screaming 80's metal, but what I got was just southern-metal. "Outlaw" starts the CD off great, but other than about 2 or 3 other songs the rest of the CD is just blah. A shame. Still worth having for metal collectors like myself though.

I had read that this was just a continuation of Racer X, with a new drummer and singer. The first three songs are good, but it gets patchy after that. Mostly for people who want to hear John Corabi before he went on to Motley Crue. 5/10

5/10??? This is a great album of Aerosmith styled blues rock. The songs are excellent with a very solid production. This is easily a 9/10 and the best album Corabi has been involved with to date.

Really only tied to Racer X by the fact that Bruce Bouillet and John Alderete were in it. The sound is a total departure from the sweep picked, arpeggiated, neo-classical metal assault that you got from Racer X (which I also love...). From what I've read, I remember Bruce saying that this was more along the lines of what HE wanted to do, and while Racer X was a lot of fun this was the kind of music he really loved. Rather than repeat it, I'll just pretty much agree with Rockhead about the rest.

I'd have to agree with a score around the 5 mark. Whilst the first track is a deadset killer, the rest really doesn't do much for me. I like Corabi, but much prefer him on the Motley Crue s/t CD. Overall, this is solid hard rock but after a blinding opener it falls into a pretty average category as far as I'm concerned.

Bought this one back when it was originally released and played it quite a bit. Corabi is truly the draw here. His voice is original and blends well with this music. There are some fillers here as the entire album does not shine. Standouts are: Man in the Moon, Outlaw, Believe in Me, Catch Me if you Can and Father, Mother Son. I would love to here Corabi in a club with just an acoustic guitar and all the songs that he has been a part of over the years. My guess is that it would be killer!

OK, does anyone know why Corabi is no longer in Cardboard Vampyres? 3 days before their gig in the Twin Towns and I see Eric Dover is now on vocals. That sucks.

Worth it for Outlaw alone...it does drag a little ...I mean the openin 'Outlaw'..damn that is a killer ...I wish there were a few more like that on here,But I still love this one.... 8/10.

Great CD. First seven tracks are top notch. I Believe In Me, Outlaw, Father mother Son, Tell Me Why, Man In The Moon are all classics. This one grows on you and I'm glad to say that I enjoyed it as I had never heard Corabi before this one. Bruce Bouillet from Racer X shreds through the whole album too. The addition of saxophones on some of the songs is a nice touch too.

this record has everything you need-great ballads and pure 80s rockin songs (some are influnced with blues, others with funk). corabi has great voice and the whole band works great together. that could be one of the best hard rock albums from early 90s. my favs: Outlaw, Man in the Moon, Father, Mother, Son (awsome ballad), You Are All I Need and Catch Me if You Can

hair metal masterpiece right in the middle of this golden era of hard rock music.i can see no mistakes here.the sound is explosive, the guitars so groovy, vocs so sharp the production by eddie kramer amazing, the looks great.all the songs are very strong and my favs are "i dont care","outlaw","you are all i need" and "every inch a woman".got it back then and i was shocked.executive release

The few awesome songs--particularly "Outlaw" & "Every Inch a Woman"--are the stuff hard rock classics are made of, but they only serve to punctuate how average the rest of the tracks are, which can result in woeful lamentations over how good this could have been. John Corabi has definitely got it goin' on in the vocal department though; this album's failings have far more to do with the songwriting than the singing. So, sure, there's some minor enjoyment to be gleaned from this CD, but aside from the aforementioned songs, nothing here is going to leave you screaming in ecstasy.

This one was always a tail-kicker in my book.Bitchin' guitar and vox throughout.Ive always wondered why he never hooked up w/Bruce again and recorded another record? 'Outlaw' was one of the better openers you'll ever hear.

Prefer the MC album and this hasn't aged so well, too much of it dabbling in the blues metal borderline honkytonk of the scene at the time the likes of Cinderella's 3rd and Tangier's 2nd and could have done with some headbanging moments... But the quality of material is still evident, highlights ManInTheMoon Outlaw and the ballads are class but the saviour is clearly those Corabi vocals pulling this one outta the average and into the pro ranks at the time. I mean taken for what it is this is a great listen but not the legs of say the others already listed. A record that was SO in need of a followup which was surprising didn't come about after the demise of the Corabi fronted Crue, woulda made sense if could've worked it in with Union. Regardless an album should be rated for its time and back when this even if not so unique Let It Scream was simply a great release worthy of your purchase. Rating 8
