If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Lazarus CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Lazarus are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Pretty simple maths here. If you like 80's hard rock like Warrant Poison etc. check this out (Though admittedly nowhere near as good). Reminds me a lot of Bittersweet (post-Rock Candy), and not just for the fact they were of the same era and both released double CDs of thier work recently, but they are similar in style too. Good solid hard rock in demo format (please note this is a collection of unpolished recordings and sound is not great). |

If hair-metal is your thing, you'll think you've died & gone to Heaven when you hear this band. Anyone who misses the hook-laden late 80s hard rock sound will probably get misty-eyed when they pop this puppy in their player. While not quite as good as, say, Ivory Tower, Frontrunner, or Airkraft, these boys hold their own with a foundation of catchy choruses & big backing vocals. If any of this sounds appealing to you, then you have to have this CD in your collection... |

here comes the motherload "bombz away"...this is a tune i remember quite well from the 90's... Not the most groundshaking release from that era but a good rock n roll album.. |

These guys are from my hometown. had a big following back in the early 90's in northeast Ohio and western PA. This is a resissue of there first two albums. they were always called Lazarus. Miss B Haven was the title to there first album and Bombz Away was there second album which I have the orginal cd. |

Yep..they hail from Youngstown, Ohio..and no, Geoff, both Miss B. Haven and Bombz Away were original releases. The first only on cassette and the second in limited pressing in the early 90's. There might be a demo track or two added on this comp..but I can't recall the exact listing on Bombz Away. They have a vibe similar to the bands above..and a bit of Tesla thrown in. Good stuff, indeed..the thing that pissed me off is that the two cd set isn't separated between Miss B. and Bombz properly. |

I must apologise... this is indeed a new CD release of older actual releases - not all demos... as stated above on this page and on the actual CD. My apologies for the mis-information. |

This is a hair metal, 80's lovin', hook laden lover's dream! Good stuff. It can be had at www.cdbaby.com. A two disc set for under fourteen bucks. Well worth the money. If you like Warrant, Ratt, Tesla, LA Guns, (you get my point) check this out! You will not be disappointed. Very underated in my book. |

I used to go see these guys every time they played. They sounded EXACTLY as they do on disc and their live show was simply AWESOME!!! Those cats knew how to put on a show! Jimmi Migliozzi was/is Northeast Ohio's BEST frontman and Ronnie Williams is probably one of the most underated songwriters from that era. I think Jimmi and Ronnie wrote EVERYTHING Lazarus recorded during the time from "Miss B. Haven" to "Bombz Away". If you like your 80's "hair metal" then you will fall in love with this 2 CD compilation of the two aforementioned albums. These guys would've been up there with the likes of Warrant, Slaughter, etc. had they been signed to a major label back in the day but their brand of "hair metal" went by the wayside by the time of their releases in the early 90's. It's too bad because those guys had the chops, the talent, the show, and most importantly, the songs to break them into the big time only to be, to coin the phrase, a "day late and a dollar short". GREAT BAND!!! |
