Classy laid-back songs with big production who deserve at last a 7/10. Some songs are hard to bare for their 'funk' but there are plenty of good songs too. Of course, it's an album you possibly need to get into if you like Melodic Rock. To be honest, it's actually an pop album with westcoast elements. There's a lot of nice ballads like "Stay till the morning light" or "Maybe we're about to fall in love" as well as the best song "Cheap thrills"

I forgot to mention that Tommy's voice is strange to adapt to as well & I don't like it.. Well, "Ambitions" is another classy song & "Here I go again" is strange but beautiful Are you curios now?? Worth to spend the 'big' money if you like funky, jazzy light AOR with class production. However, not to far away from his work with EASY ACTION on THIS MAKES ONE.

Well if you are looking for a clone, vocally talking,of Luther Vandross and Michael Mcdonald then Tommy Nilsson is ...i've always liked this kind of relaxed Westcoast/Lite AOR type of albums and the voice of Tommy helps a lot to enrich it...my fave tracks are "Turn It Up","Miss My Love"(nice smoothie),"One More Night","Only One Man","She Delivers" & "Maybe We're About To Fall In Love"(beautiful song)...recommended album if you like soft and mellow songs...85/100
