| A great LIVE disc. Even if you've never heard the band before you'll grow to love this one & become a fan! Who would have thought that ALL of these guys would later go on to bigger things? You must have this one in your collection essential! If you like Judas Priest you'll fall in love with this band. Also pick up Volume #2, it's taped from the same series of shows as Voume #1. 9.0 for sure!

| I'm listening to this right now on my CD replacement of the original vinyl I snagged in the 80's, and it still kicks ass! Although I really respect Gilbert's chops, for some reason I've always been partial to Bruce, he's got some cool blues flavoring (which is extremely evident on The Scream's disc). Either way, like I said before, it kicks major ass. I'm beyond thrilled these guys came back. Wish they would have brought Bruce back too, but beggars can't be choosers...

| I have to agree, I like Bruce's playing better too. Especially in The Scream as Blue Charvel pointed out.

| I bought this album years ago and that is when I told myself that I have to stop buying live albums! I use to be a big Paul Gilbert fan but I never listen to this album. Their other albums might be good but I don't really care for live records. The only live album that I truly stand behind is "If You Want Blood.... You've Got It" (AC/DC), It's the best live album EVER!

| This is one of all times best live albums. Great songs, great playing. The solos are all but boring, in fact are brutal. Amazing is the word. Also here you get their best lineup with Paul and Bruce on guitars and their best performance of "Into The Night" (wich is my fav song from them). Also worth getting the Vol II wich is not as good but completes the experience and haves a Priest cover (Heart of a lion) and the classic Detroy Rock City from Kiss. Get or die!!

| As a teenager, I saw these guys perform in the late 80's at the Reseda Country Club. I remember the big buzz was that the singer was Rob Halford's lover. I had no idea then, that Rob was gay. Nobody did. Then they did the Priest song Heart of a Lion, and I figured it out. The buzz was all about how freakin good these guys were. Nobody at the time could play like the two guitar players, the drummer was an amazing machine, the bass player was killer, and the singer was an absolute.......cont.

| dead on ringer for Halford at times. I remember being very impressed at how effortlessly they could shred away on their guitars while looking away and laughing at each other. This band, I thought, was going to be gigantic, then Paul went off on that Mr. Big thing and it was over. Never liked Mr. Big. I'm glad to see that they're back again and killing it once more. Sure would love to hear Heart of A Lion again!

Brilliant live album...every musician showed their skills (4 fantastic solo tracks-Paul,Scott,Bruce & John  )and Jeff Martin doing a great job as a lead singer..."Loud And Clear","Motor Man","She Wants Control","Scit Scat Wah"(Great instrumental song),"Into The Night" & "Set The World On Fire"  ...'nuff said ....93/100
