http://www.johnelefante.com/jmla/ Luckily it seems they changed the cover :-P Soundbytes sound awesome, i can't wait to hear the full album. John Elefante has such a great voice and his solo work is full of beautiful melodies. |

This neatly covers stylewise, all era's of John Elefante's career in one disc, from his Kansas and earlier Mastedon days, through to excellent solo albums. It really is quite excellent througout, so existing Kansas/Elefante solo fans will be salivating over this one. Songs vary from 'One Day Down By The Lake' which is a an 11 minute monster and covers the more Kansas type stuff, 'Water Into Wine' which just plain out rocks, through to the more commercial Boston sounding 'Nowhere Without Your Love', which is definitely one of the best songs I have heard this year so far,'Lying' and 'You Can't Take Anything'. Production wise, this is a really excellent sounding album aswell, with a nice rich sound (as with all Elefante' produced albums) and I must say that JE's vocals are absolutely stunning throughout and give this album extra points. A major surprise and a big time thumbs up for this one. Elefante is back, you better believe it. |

What can I say ?! Actually I can't add much to what Jez has already written above. I especially love the tracks "Nowhere without your Love" and "Lying". The Kansas cover song "Dust in the Wind" might even be better than the original one. This is a bloody awesome release !! BUY !! |

When metal and hard rock swept the nation in the early 80s to the mid 90s, it even caused a stir in the contemporary Christian music scene. The old school bands like Petra and Whiteheart ratcheted things up a little heavier, but what was wonderful was seeing truly unique bands like Mastedon, Whitecross, Bloodgood, Barren Cross, and, of course, Stryper erupt out of nowhere onto the metal scene. That being said, "Lofcaudio" is Mastedon's second cd, originally released in 1990 I AM SELLING MY COLECTION THAT I INCLUDE THESE GREAT ALBUMS. if you are interested on purchase these cds come to join me to ( http://christianmusic-musiconsale.blogspot.com/ ) |
