This album is an absolute must have! Not heavy, but, very groovy and catchy. These guys will have you "movin' on it" for a long time.

From: tomcat Date: May 1, 2001 at 17:54
this is so different from their debut. but i still get a kick out of this one. kinda 70's with a lot of groove. cool cd.

From: SleazyMusic Date: September 7, 2001 at 9:17
I'm totally agree with tomcat...This cd is more blues oriented and I love it ! Davy Vain vocals are wonderful..... Well, have a nice weekend from Italyyyyyy...!!!!!

From: HG Date: March 2, 2002 at 23:11
I agree with the above comments. If you want to hear something that sounds more like "No Respect," track down the bootleg "All Those Strangers" CD. It was an album that was recorded, but never released, around 1991.

From: Paulo-Fernandes Date: May 12, 2002 at 18:22
Great album, great songs, great vocals, just don't expect "No respect" part 2

From: Cotton C. Lover Date: July 2, 2002 at 23:45

Vain are one underrated band!Soulful, emotional vocals mixed with bluesy grooves and psychedelic guitars. What more can you ask for.Where can i find a copy of "No Respect" on cd?

Literally the best $2 I ever spent. Got this and Kane Roberts 'S&S' album on the same day for the same price and to this day have not stopped playing both! Brilliant, unique lyrics and vocals. 'Whisper' is a treat to anyone's ears, 'Planets turning' is flawless hard rock, 'Ivy's dreams' is haunting and once again, there is not a single song I don't love on this CD. Truly one of the best bands to walk the planet. 9.7/10

I like Davy Vainīs style it is unique. Cool band!

From: edwithmj Date: May 16, 2009 at 19:00
I didn't like this album at all. No catchy hooks, no great melodies, just endless dreary sounding vocals with each song sounding like the last one. I was very disappointed in the whole album.

From: hair metal again Date: September 8, 2009 at 1:47
excellent release by dave and his "family" back then.while many bands tried to sound like soundgarden or nirvana vain create a more 70's sound like their debut.the result is huge, imean that "move on it " has nothing average in it.high class quality songs, great atmosphere, dave's unique way of singing and a great band behind him.all the songs are stars,so icannot choose one or two.it s not easy for anyone to like vain.if you feel experienced enough try it,if not you can listen to heat, poodles and gotthard

From: steve72 Date: January 16, 2012 at 2:53
Admittedly some of their "Heaviness" is compromised but they still have killer tunes and Davy's vocals... these alone are reason enough to show up. Lyrically still fresh and original and though leaning towards a more groove/rock sound/production this album is still potent. Great CD!

From: 123charpenay Date: January 14, 2013 at 12:52
great record but i m not really hooked.it sounds a little old.in the same style of babylon a d .but babylon a d is very very better than vain.
