The last album before the shift to goth but it's sadly no rock n roll record, although you might be fooled by the bizarrely glamtastic band photos contained within. This record is a lot like Shotgun Messiah's Violent New Breed, not only in terms of style (industrial-fueled metal), but also in respect to its the sudden shift from hard rock. There's some good songs on here, the title track is excellent, but for the most part, I find it all a bit tuneless and monotonous. Then they went goth... 5/10

Are you kidding??? This is a LOT more sleazier than Savage Garden. A fantastic album. I am a fan of the very early 69 Eyes stuff (Been a fan from the start) and I loved their shift into goth territory also, but to say this is anything like Violent New Breed? Not a chance. It aint industrial at all. This album is pure fuel driven sleazy hard rock with some goth undertones. Killers are the title track, Broken Man, D.I.D and Turbo Bitch. You can hear early elements as well as the newer side in this.

I'm not a goth music fan as much as I love the look, but as far as these guys are concerned...I like what they've done and what they keep doing. It's fun. Interesting. New music in general bores me. This doesn't. It ain't classic sleaze glam but it's better than the grunge-o-rama I've been pelted with for 13 years.

this album is no goth touched, just sleaze with modern sound

I would say that these guys have a Glam feel disguised in a Goth appereance and adding a touch of it in their music..."Too Much To Lose","Skanky Man","Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams" & "Hellcity 1999" are in my book...84/100
