These guys are an aquired taste I'll give you that. Axl Rose & David Lee Roth owe Jim Dandy HUGE royalties for ripping him off left and right!! My favorite southern rock band by far. They sound like they could fall apart at any second which just adds to the sexiness and danger with these guys. "Hot Rod" is the best tune here and Jim Dandy was such a charasmatic frontman that each tune has such a unique vibe to it. Has a TON going for it in my opinion. |

Definitely an acquired taste... personally, Jim Dandy's vocals don't work for me; but the music's pretty damn good. |

Man, Jaun Carlos, you're right about this one. "Hot And Nasty" is a cool song, and a few of the harder ones too, but mostly in that annoying, piss-everybody-off kind of hillbilly way. To tell the truth, a lot of these songs are pretty fuckin' stupid. Jesse Dupree took Jim Dandy's whole "wild-eyed redneck maniac" schtick and made it a whole lot more fun. |
