Anyone who knows what this is like? Is this the same singer as in Slash Puppet? |

Judging from the cover this looks like Alice in Chains crap. Does anyone know what this is like? |

It's the same singer for Slash Puppet. (Mif) This is not Glam/Sleaze. It's in the vein of all that was popular in 1996. A little Rob Zombie, Tool, Alice In Chains, and some mid-90s Metallica in that Alt-Rock/Metal format. That slow drowning chord progressions with the snareless snare drum foremost in the mix. The use of Middle Eastern sounds. That world-rock sound. We Are The World, We are the People vibe. Clean vocals with a Rob Zombie/ James Hetfield growl at the end of his vocal phrasing. Lyrics about how society is oppressing the human spirit. That kind of thing. I'm not into that crap. I try not to purchase anything of this genre. Grunge and Alt-Rock/Metal was such a sad and boring endeavor. A sad lost woke pseudo hippie generation. The more I listen to this CD. the more I want to step on it and crush it. Fucking Herd Mentality. |
