Blah. Some of the songs are decent, Corabi sounds great, Fred Coury does a competent if near-identical cover to the orginal, Jizzy is good and Spike does an interesting (though not particularly good) interpretation of Don't Cry... but Paradise City and Welcome To the Jungle are absolutely goddamn awful, especially the former, whilst My Michelle is just dead, flat and boring. The rest suck. I do like quality 80s metal tribute albums, but this is largely crap with a couple of decent moments. 3/10 |

One thing that was always wrong on the CD liner notes for some reason was the version of Patience was not John Corabi, but Jani Lane on vocals. John was once asked about his version of Patience and he said he never ever recorded a version. If you listen to it, you can hear it is Jani despite the more laid back delivery. |
