A superb tribute album that takes classic Def Leppard songs and gives them a heavier, more aggressive edge without significantly altering the original sound. The only major overhaul of any tune is the industrial-metal take on "Pour Some Sugar on Me." This is little-known bands doing well-known songs and it sounds pretty cool. The leopard may not be able to change its spots, but people can certainly give the leopard a fresh coat of paint, if you catch my drift... |
