The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Black Cat Moan CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. If I had a black cat I'm pretty sure it would have moaned when I played this on the stereo for the first time. Jokes, just fit in too well. It's a bad CD, yes, and I probably wouldn't give it more than 5, but it's not that bad. If you like bluesy rock you might dig it. IMO, extremely average though, and don't get it if you want AOR or melodic rock.

Well, i do like (love) bluesly rock and i think this is a really good cd, reminds me a bit of Bleeding hearts - loaded gun, another underrated cd.

I need to get this. Who can help?? Find it nowhere. Thanx

From: jessica96fish Date: March 30, 2005 at 9:01
not bad if you like that blues tuch.one that will grow on ya.

From: SCANDI Date: June 17, 2005 at 14:27
jessica96fish is so right. It's a "grower" if you're a hard rocker who likes some parts of blues. On the other side, I can even agree with the classy comment of Geoff, the piano player in "Good girl gone bad" must have gone totally nuts.. However, "Heartbreak jury" & "Guttlin' gun" are great stright hard rock tunes. At the end every black cat must decide on her own if to moan and when, why.

Very average ... nothing special, dont waste your money on this one.

I think this is a diamond in the rough.Classic bluesy rock-n-roll. This is the the type of band you would love to see in a small venue maybe even a bar and they would blow you away. There's nothing new here but if you like Great White,Tesla etc you'll dig these guys. They remind me a bit of Rattleshake another diamond.I recommend this to anyone into the bluesier side of rock 88/100.
