EROTIC SUICIDE's debut was good, but this sophomore effort is great. Much, MUCH harder guitars, more attitude than ever, and improved songwriting. From start to finish, this is a very cool, cranking melodic metal release, loud, aggressive, and very much in-your-face. Skid Row wishes they still sounded this good...

"I want" is one of the best songs of all time. If you like your glam with a hard edge, and on the sleazy side, get this disc!

I want to know whatever happened to Stephan Lauren. He was awesome and kicked ass on the guitar, not to mention he is hot. Will he be making a comeback?

These guys are glam all the way, but a degree heavier than many others. That's puts them up in the Motley Crue range of heaviness are pure rock attitude. There's a little Faster Pussycat, Guns N Roses and the aforementioned Motley Crue. This album is also light years ahead of their debut. Much better production (extremely good for an indie release) and better playing, singing and most importantly, better melodic songs.

Just wondered if anyone knows what happened to the blonde bass player from a few years ago {I think his name was Kari} He was hot and if I remember right he turned them from a boring no look band into an attention getter. I just thought I would ask wondered if he is still playing, would love to catch a show if he is.

I've been looking for this CD for a while and could use some help, if anyone knows where i could buy a copy or if someone is willing to sell me a copy or could send me the mp3's in 160 kbps I'd be really happy. I'm willing to send money through paypal for the trouble of sending the mp3's and converting them to the quality i want. Email me first if interested @ metal4ever@fastmail.fm thanks. As for this album it kicks serious ass it deserves a 10 for blowing me away.

I do have a copy of this cd and it rocks---I know the guys in the band and unfortunatly they have decided to call it quits--The new singer was great in the band but he just recently got into a car accident and that was the downfall of ES3(That was the new name for the band)anyway good luck to Mike,Dee,Billy, and Kyle---Thanks for the memories----Your pal in Dallas----BobJovi

Well, they really stepped up here. Much heavier than the debut and the songs are much stronger and better. Massive heavy rock sound with killer guitars. Literally too many highlights here to mention, but the last two tracks are extremely good. Reminds me a little of Faster Pussycat mixed with Ugly Kid Joe's debut... but better than both, in places. Great disc.

After "Abusement Park" I don't have great expectations: yes, a good band, but pretty average. Then I've buyed "Perseverance" and... WOOOWWW!!! Really a great step up! At first it's heavier than the debut, a great example of nasty sleaze-glam rock, in the style of bands like Faster Pussycat (the debut) and L.A. Guns (first album and "Vicious Circle"). But the songs are also a LOT LOT better than those of the debut, much more... focused. A great rock album, really! Get it, if you can!

These guys remind me of hard Skid Row mixed with, oddly, Ugly Kid Joe, with just a slight southern flavor.. Although it came out in '98, to me, it sounds more like '92, right at that point where the hair bands got the memo that said "It's time to really bring it or pack it in." The songs are heavier than a lot of others in this style, yet still retain plenty of meoldy and catchiness. The singer has one of those stereotypical glam-metal voices, but it fits the music well enough. And the production is really terrific. My favorites are "Hurt," "Devil's Daughter," "All Fall Down," and the good ballad "Blown Away." Some of that Ugly Kid Joe-like humor shows up in "I Want," and 'Weekend One Night Stand" is a little twist on the groupie theme. A pretty good disc, but I tell you what, NO CD is worth $97.

Maybe somebody can clear this up. I've heard two opposing stories about this record. One says that it was just a collection of demos that were released after the band broke up, purely as a thank-you to fans. The other says that it was indeed a proper second record. Which is right? I'd lean toward the second, because everything flows very nicely, and don't sound "unfinished" at all.
