Great fun record. If you like Wig Wam, Evenrude or Sha-Boom you will surely love this. Happy melodies( a little bit discotheque in places but that isn't bad), chorus after chorus, tons of hooks...well this is what party CD should be. My fave's are cheesy I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend and Heartbeat.

Yeah, this one is for the Sha-Boom and Ole Evenrude-associated fans out there. It's not too much my scene as the lyrics are extremely banal and it is very poppy, but I can't tell you how many times I have cranked the track 'Broken heart' in my speakers. Easily worth the price alone and makes me delighted to own an overall decent CD. Beautiful song!

Excellent album. I am a big fan of Evenrude this practically blew the roof off my house. Broken heart is awesome as well as "that will be the day." Good cd from start to finish.

if you like sha boom.then this is for you.a real fun album.top marks 10/10 for me.

From: orietto Date: March 9, 2005 at 18:06
agree with vandervelde and geoff as this one is pretty weak and with few moments of hard rock/aor as it's too poppy...still don't realize why it's so sought after bah! 5

Im picking this one up tomorrow. Cant wait. Im buying a load of stuff from a swedish collector and this one is among the package.

I would never pay 77.17$ for this album. Nice songs with a lot of moves and mixed kind of music styles. I like Sha-boom but a poor 6,5/10 for this album.

I love Dag Finn. Songs like "Bye Bye Baby Goodbye" and Sorry (If I Broke Your Heart For Nothing)rock my world. Dag Finn has that wonderful evenrude voice. Norway have lot's of great singers!!!

From: newscandi Date: July 28, 2006 at 17:38
I like Dag and his older songs (Not the new songs on "The race is on" due to the modern styles of musicianship) and his tracks 1, 6 & 8 on here! --Just wanted to say that..

Very good AOR indeed àla Zinatra/Stage Dolls/Sha-boom/Evenrude.. "Sorry (If I Broke Your Heart For Nothing)" What a ballad! it´s mine and the best for me. "Broken Heart"(Great AOR) "What Goes Around" "Bye Bye Baby Goodbye" "That Will Be The Day" good ones too. 8.5/10

From: erik Date: April 18, 2009 at 7:40
As written her above by some others. Very nice AOR/Pop album. I even like it more then Sha-Boom who's songs are 2 "flat" imo). And yep Broken Heart is without a doubt the gem on this cd 80/100

From: DNOMYTE Date: May 23, 2009 at 14:15
the chorus from I wanna be your boyfriend was completely stolen by avril lavigne or however you spell her name, dag finn needs to sue her for this. Her song girlfriend completely stole the chorus

Brlliant stuff!!!..catchy tracks with hooking choruses and a very plesant voice, good one Mr Finn!!! ..."Here Comes My Love","What Goes Around","That Will Be The Day","Heartbeat","Broken Heart"(my fave song of the album ),"I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend" & "Big Time Shuffle" are great pieces of melodic mayhem....WARNING: this might sound too poppy 4 some...for me this was a really good cotton candy ...93/100

From: hair metal again Date: May 3, 2020 at 13:44
solo release for DAG FINN and of course this is in the SHA BOOM ,EVENRUDE style with all the songs being radio friendly with a clear commercial sound and many catchy choruses! some of them are over the top of happiness but "broken heart" def is a gem!
